In the Mountains of Jammu and Kashmir when bitten by a snake they stop the bloodflow by tying the area to prevent the posion spreading. Then they go hospital. Some of them live at least 45 mins to 2 hours away from hospitals

if the patient is already unconscious in the beginning , should we assess her using the DRSABCD first or the snake bite first? because both is also crucial .

Always follow DRSABCD, Danger, Response, then if conscious send for help and apply pressure bandage. If unconscious continue to follow DRSABCD

Why from the bottom to the top and not from top to bottom (where you force the blood to stay at the end of the extremity?

Good question! applying the bandage upwards from the lower portion of the bitten limb means the bandage will be more comfortable, and therefore can be left in place for longer if required - biomedicalsciences.unimelb.edu.au/departments/department-of-biochemistry-and-pharmacology/engage/avru/advice-and-resources/first-aid/pressure-immobilisation-first-aid

Also, we aren't trying to force the blood to stay down, we are compressing the lymph system - venom initially travels in the lymph, so we are restricting the lymph flow, not blood.

What if the bite is on the stomach or neck, ect?

Firm pressure over the bite site if possible, no circumferential bandaging, however to don't put any pressure on the airway. The number one priority is to get emergency medical help!
