    I saw her cross the Swift Current creek on April 27th in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. Beautiful old loco and well worth catches a look at.

    There there for dynamic breaking and in case of an emergency otherwise there just idling

    Pedestrians are a big issue at this crossing, I saw a pedestrian walk in front of a train and get killed a Few years back. His dog didn’t want to cross, he tried to coax it across, but his attention was on the dog and he didnt realize the train had arrived. Dog was smarter than him.

    Not at all - the UK and Germany at least run significant steam hauled excursions - I watched one only a couple of weeks ago.

    @@Wawa111_Mainline Yeah, that's wild. Here, on the Reading & Northern, you can see speeds of 40 mph or so, but the mountains are really twisty. Was that a x-country excursion?
