Feeling completely warm and cozy here! :) In my dreams, it's a cabin somewhere in the mountains that we often go to on the weekends. My perfect winter day would start with a walk, a skating rink, maybe a hot bath outdoors, and an evening by the fireplace with a book, tea, board games, movies. I would choose your cozy cabin! The fireplace crackling is sooo good!
I have these exact slippers ha ha! Missing snow! Finally, a fireplace that makes sense. I saw a video where there was a fireplace, and there was window above it, I couldn’t figure out where the smoke and heat went🤣🤣🤣

And so here we are in January. It's like December, but the joy and festivity of Christmas have waned into vestige. It's the calm after the merry storm of the holidays. Now we relax, and take stock of how we're going to move forward in the new year. Taking stock, the first thing I notice is that I still have a headache from New Year's Eve. So I gotta make moves in the new year with that in consideration.

Another great winter ambience!!! We haven’t had snow in a few years here in New York City but I’m hoping for it. Just relaxing at home with a cup of hot chocolate and a good book is a perfect winter snowy day for me. So this wonderful ambience captures what I’ll do that day. Visuals and sounds are perfect. We're having such a mild winter here in Vancouver this year too (it's pouring rain and fairly warm out as I type this), so I wanted to create the snow we don't have! @@AutumnCozy infodump time! I have to disagree on the "happy" part. My life has been full of pain. I wish people gave pessimism the same respect they give optimism. I am glad to be alive because enjoy SOME things about my life but that doesn't mean I have to be happy.

Thank you so much! I'm not a fan of wind that's too loud either; the high whistling gets sort of annoying after a while. :)
OMG, the CRACKLING is perfect! This image is exactly my ideal, and I even have those slippers. I just want to step into this and sit in a chair and read my book (current read is Mother-Daughter Murder Night) with some coffee and cookies! The wind sounds are just right: enough to make you cozy and warm, not to unsettle by making it feel drafty or too violent. The pinecone candles are a sweet touch, as is the snow in the windows, and your colours and the lighting are gorgeous contrasts. This is an instant fave. Thank you so much! I hope you had a great holiday, Autumn, and that you were able to have some time to do exactly this: coffee, books, and a fire! xo PS. We watched A Haunting in Venice last night, which, if you haven't seen it yet, was thrilling and beautifully filmed! Brought me back to my Agatha Christie era!

I saw Murder on the Orient Express and really enjoyed that too. Also, I'm struggling with getting back to routine too. All I want to do is read and nap and eat junk food.
