A great tip, if you get the urge to go book shopping on this book ban, just go to your library. Check out however many books you feel like/can and act as if you're buying them. You bring them home and if you never read them then you just return them, no pain to your wallet! Plus, it helps out the library. They don't care if you read them, lol, just check 'em out. Sincerely, a member of a library staff 😌 P.s I would totally watch a library haul/trip vlog 😉

Lmao this is me right now and I go there so often I’m friends with the security guard and one of the librarians know my card number 😂. Also I like to buy the $0.50 books that they have if it’s books that is good (I managed to snag ‘If we were villains, people we meet on vacation and Ninth house’ all for $1.50 😂).

Darn it, I love your channel but I'm supposed to be on a book buying ban for a short time too (my tbr shelf keeps growing!) But I just added about 8 more books to my want list ha ha 🙈🤷‍♀️📚💞 Also, Lord of the Flies is a bit hit and miss for some people, I think classics sometimes have that affect on people. I absolutely loved it though, it's a classic for a very good reason! Always on Lit course reading lists too! Interested to hear your opinion when you read it 🤗 And you look amazing as always 🔥👌 xx

You can also use the app for the “online” price and they’ll match it. They’re almost always 5 dollars cheaper! They can also adjust the price on the receipt to the one online and give you the difference back. I used to work in guest services 🫠🥸

Make sure you price check your books at target. Their books tend to cost more in store. Also compair to Amazon.

Read Exit West for a literature course in uni last year. Highly recommend ;) It's such an interesting perspective on war, violence, crisis and refugees. You might already know this, but it's also magical realism.

I’m guessing whoever checked you out at Target is not typically a cashier. The 20% off is already included in the price lol. You didn’t pay full price - whatever you paid already had the 20% off factored in but it doesn’t show as a discount on the receipt. The sticker is more of a trick bc it’s like 20% off compared to other major retailers so whatever price was on the shelf has the 20% off factored in. The red card only gives you an extra 5% off. However there are sometimes deals on the Target app that you can only get with the app or a coupon from the weekly ads. Sincerely, someone who used to work at Target 😂 Id guess your cashier was either new or worked in a different department most of the time but everyone in the store (except for some of the tech guys) get trained on the register before anything else even if they’re not a “cashier”
