I live on a hobbie farm. Big greenhouse, live stock, orchard. All done by me. I do my chores then I game. Today I'm making insulation for my chicken coup. Heavy duty plastic layer of cardboard 2 inchs of sheep wool another layer of cardboard then wrap it up in the plastic. Making a 3 to 4 inch thick insulation. Which then I'll slide between my beams in my coop. Keeping them in place with 4x1. And I play games every day. I have a gaming PC, 3DS, Switch and steamdeck.

Bro is living my dream! 0 toxic people, 0 stress , gaming, lovely dog, I don't need expressive cars, cheap ass girls or other material stuff.

Dude I can honestly say this is one of THEE most tranquil videos I've ever watched. You're kind happy spirit living with your dog is inspiring. When you layed om the hammock with the ROG and that fire and mountain view were in the backround..it just made me shed some tears man..simple. free, life you live is what I hope to experience one day. I actually see alot of people doing that because they are living in these 1 room appartments that ussually dont come with a bathroom so people just shower at the gym/pool because they have showers for public use. I actually saw the episode where he was washing his hair in the little sink in his van and the first thing that came to mind was that i could never do something like that because im way to spoiled and i cant live without a shower/bath. I gotta give this guy credit for bëing able to live like this and just having the freedom to go where ever he wants since im kinda rooted in place and i never travel but i geuss that's the main reason this channel has such a pull on me.

Contrary to popular belief, you don't need to shower every day. Even soap strips the natural oils off your skin.

This man is actually living my dream im about to turn 17 and I'm going into IT so I can get a remote job and live this sort of life just seems so cool being able to go anywhere I want while still having the comfort of home I honestly cannot imagine anything better. By the time I'm able to live like this the ally will probably be outdated but devices like it and the deck are so perfect for van life. The second I've saved enough money im going to do up a van and explore the great world outside our doors I actually cannot wait.

Starlink is a change changer! I've lived in a rural area for the last 25 years and have never had internet like what Starlink can provide for gaming. Had used a hotspot the last 6 years, but only could game early mornings or late nights for good ping. My life has changed for sure.

as a gamer who lives with depression in a fairly urban area, i had a smile on my face throughout this whole video. if my life were a little different, maybe i'd try to go on my own vanlife journey too :) edit for further context since there's been some replies: when i say i "live with depression" that's frankly an enormous fucking euphemism and generalization for the struggles i go through. i am, for all intents and purposes, disabled because of the mental health issues i have faced every day for over 20 years and have been in serious treatment for over a decade. when i say "if my life were a little different," i mean "if i was able to even somewhat function independently." thank you for the encouraging words and good intentions, though, and hopefully some of you are in a better position than i am to chase your own vanlife dreams. ♥

Hey, don't let your dreams be dreams! Now I can't vanlife (disabled) but I LOVE the ideas. If there is any advice I am qualified to give, it save money and learn diy! Maybe one day you will have the opportunity, and we all deserve to be happy my dude! With the Ally or the Deck you should pair it with some AR glasses like the Nreal Air's for essentially 120inch OLED screen infront of you.

As someone who owns a steamdeck, the ally is interesting but not enough of an upgrade to buy it. I usually play indie games on it anyway. Native support for more games would be the main thing why i would choose the aly over the steamdeck these days. That said, i like that Linux gaming got pushed by it and Windows might react by actually improving. Imagine a future where you skip all that setup and just use something small attached to comfotable vr glasses. Hope i live to see that xD

Dude thank you for making this video. Bought the Ally for when I’m on the road racing. 15 year old me would be freaking out being able to play halo match making wirelessly in a handheld. This thing is freaking cool. Also this was my introduction to your channel. Debating on building a van and getting a permanent campsite near my work instead of buying a house since everything by me is in the 300k + range for 1200sqft 2 bed/1 bath. Travel safe!!!

Just found your channel today and I am literally digging your content for the past 2-3 hours or so xD As a gaming enthusiast myself this is absolutely my dream. Going off grid without missing out on gaming etc, exploring nice places (basically sightseeing) and just living life. I might not be able to quit my job and do content creation like you but even if it was just for vacation purposes it would be amazing. And I actually wanna start preparing for it so I can some day in the future. One thing that I am curious about: What are the positive and negative aspects to not having your own toilet/shower? I drink a lot of water during the day so I wake up once or twice in the night but especially for #2 I wonder how you solve it. The showering part can be easily managed I believe. Keep doing amazing content like this, also keep the positive energy and take good care of Milly. She made me smile through the whole video. It is absolutely amazing how you are giving her the best life she can have and that she deserves.
