I love this stone cottage. Since I am a european born American, I am under 6 feet tall, so the low ceiling on the ground floor is no problem, and it makes it easier to heat. Cortona is in sight, so this place is perfectly located. No tourist traffic in front of your door! 😊

€550k … good price if it’s a stand alone building and plot but not so much if part of and attached to other buildings/property (as in semidetached in the uk).

This is a good price for Cortona and for Tuscany . The next video will be of a detached farmhouse in Cortona that is being sold equally at 550,000 but inside needs some restoration work.

Yes, it is true. these kinds of houses in the Cortona area do not have very high ceilings. However, the rooms are livable and very comfortable. Thank you for the comment.

I am new to your channel i have been looking for a house like this for 2 years, it is almost perfect in the sense that i want something very rustic and in stone, in tuscany. When i said " almost perfect" is because is out of my budge.. my buget is around $250 us dollars max. And the number one feature for me is ..... viw, view, view. But it has to be a wonderful view. I will keep watching your videos and access your website do you have one?

No map,or floor plans anywhere! It says it is part of the village but completely separate. Separate to what and by what? Is it a stand alone building? as the overhead drone shots seem to give the impression that it’s attached to and part of a larger complex of buildings? So not a detached stand alone farmhouse.

The house is lovely but I’m confused as to the concept of the hamlet. Can you please explain? Also is that a main road? How far to Cortona?

The house is part of a very small hamlet of houses set in the hillside opposite the town of Cortona. You can see it best from the photos on our website, find in link in description. The distance to the historic center is about 2 - 3 km. The access road is a country road in good condition with zero traffic. I still suggest you take a look at the link and maybe request to speak directly with Gabriele.

This house has withstood all earthquakes felt in Cortona very well. I would add that all the other houses in Cortona have withstood well because Cortona is a low seismic risk area. So this house is not better than the others but for this area it is just fine.

ahahah... this type of cottages have some doors, of unimportant rooms, a little less high but still Gabriel is quite tall.

Only two rooms are low and small. However, that's how expensive houses are in Cortona.
