everything you said about summer applies to me, 100%. it is so soothing to know how other people feel about this. additionally, summer is not "good weather and fun times" any more, the heat is so surreal, the drought extremely scary. summer as sole good times, i sincerely think this is done.

For cozy books I would recommend The Starless Sea (cozy fantasy!! -and also a bit dark academia in my opinion) and A Psalm for the Wild-Built (this book really is just a warm hug, a tea monk and a robot are having philosophical conversations!). Not sure if you’ve read either of them but if not they are perfect for the fall 😍

If you're interested in Mary Shelley you should definitely watch the 2017 movie Mary Shelley. It shows her life from childhood to the point she wrote Frankenstein and the vibes are just perfect for autumn 🍂
