Coyotes in INSANE FOG + RAIN! | A Wildlife Photography Documentary

Hey All! Welcome back to another Wildlife Photography video! If you have been following along, You will know that I have been in filming wildlife in Wind Cave for a few days! I am trying something new with this video, and not talking at all! I know, its something I usually dont do, but I am super interested to see what you guys think!
Heres a quick recap of of the day! I woke up WELL before sunrise, knowing that it was going to be foggy and rainy. I got to the spot in hopes of finding some coyotes in the area, and I was SOO lucky to see one laying in the grass! I grabbed my camera, and headed into the field. I spent about an hour with this goregous animal, and the fog slowly got worse and worse as the day went on. Eventually, the fog was so thick that I lost sight. It was an amazing experience and I am SO thankful that I was able to capture it, and spend this short fleeting moment in time.
I just want to thank all of you for watching my Wildlife Photography vlogs / documentaries. I cannot do it without each and every one of you, and I am just so thankful that I am able to share all of these amazing wildlife experiences with all of you.
I would love to know what you guys think of this new style and format! I wanted it to be a mix between ASMR, relaxing music, almost like a meditation, and a calming video. Let me know if you liked it!
And if you havent been following along, check out my other videos from Badlands National Park and Wind Cave National Park! In the other parks, I found Bison, Big Horned Ram, Prarie Dogs, and so much more! My videos are usually a mix of Wildlife Photography, Overlanding, Boondocking, Vlogging, Cinematic wildlife videos, and a documentary!
If you liked those, you would also like my Wildlife Documentaries in Yellowstone National Park, and Grand Teton National Park! In Yellowstone we found Bison Calves, Black Bears, Coyotes, Moose, and so much more! In Grand Teton, I had the most amazing experience with big Bull Moose! You will love it!
Thanks so much for all of the support!

    This was so BEAUTIFULLY done Josh ! The fog just gives off all the feels along with your always stellar choice of music ! The soothing sound of the rain, the ombré effect of the landscape and details captured as the coyote moves through the fields makes for a truly wonderful and relaxing experience ! Your photography is just STUNNING !

    Another excellent video! Love your choice of music, good length of video & really wonderful shots! The coyote is about 2x the size of the one's in our area in Missouri. The no talk or limited talking is nice especially with your excellent choice for music. Great work!

    Awesome video, as always. Technical question: do you put some sort of umbrella over the camera when you do those driving/parking shots in the rain? If not, should we invent a "cold-shoe mounted camera umbrella"?

  • @FoxandFir

    @FoxandFir

    haha, I wish it was a little umbrella. But I have some rain covers that I use when im using a microphone. If im not, I dont worry about it and just let it get rained on and such.
