Cowboys news and Cowboys rumors were hotter than fireworks over the 4th of July weekend after Dak Prescott was spotted in a walking boot. Speaking at a youth football camp, while NOT wearing a boot, Dak downplayed the “injury.” Here’s what he told media: “I’m great. Honestly, I’m getting older. (It’s) the same ankle that I snapped and had surgery on four years ago. So a couple of hard days of training and you get a little sore. And then you go on a fishing trip and you want to protect it and make sure things don’t get worse. Literally, it’s absolutely nothing. People are reaching, trying to make things that they aren’t. I’m getting older and having to take care of my body and be smart. If I have to take precautions and lessen something by putting on a boot, I’ll do it. Sorry that it caused such a whirlwind.”
Dak Prescott also spoke about his contract status, saying he’s not worried about the money side of things: “There’s been conversations back and forth. But as y’all know I’m going to let my agent do that, especially as we get right here into training camp. Day 1 of training camp, my mind flips to obviously helping out my team with everything I can in the organization to make sure that I’m my best and everyone around me is their best. The money and all of that will take care of itself.”
Cowboys training camp is just a few weeks away and it’s unclear if CeeDee Lamb will be present due to his contract talks with the Cowboys. Dak said the two have gotten a “good amount” of passes in together. Lamb is expected to attend the Dak/pass catcher getaway workout later this month.

Super Pass! My brother is a die hard Buccaneers fan and when Leonard fournette was cut he was Sooo happy😂 his knickname for him was Flat foot Lenny. He only might be good a little running down hill but that's about it. Honestly it's a slap in the fans face if they sign Fournette.

Wears boot: over cautious, dramatic. Doesnt wear boot: flippant, bullheaded. Dummies: put in a worse qb like lance or cousins, he'll fix everything.
