This is why Dan Quinn had an issue. Micah didn’t want to play LB. When he did he pouted. Sam Williams, Overshown and other defensive players explained how much more vocal and a teacher that Zimmer is. Micah is all about himself. Check out the film. Every time DLaw, Sam Williams, Osi, or anyone got a sack he wasn’t there to celebrate. Every pick 6 Bland had Parsons wasn’t there to celebrate. I get he’s all world talent but not a leader and people just become star stuck by the talent and brush away the team aspect.

Yes, relationships matter-but the most important relationship for Defense Coach Mike Zimmer is likely Assistant Head Coach; Secondary Coach Al Harris. Now, Zimmer began as a secondary coach. Likely, he has some thoughts as to what should go on in that room. But Harris has not only his own reputation to build, he has led an aggressive and impressive unit. Zimmer cannot upset that apple cart, especially in the year Diggs comes back from injury.

Difference between our world and theirs is this: it’s always a one year deal. Any second any player spends thinking: “so and so might not be here next year” is a just one second closer to them being gone themselves.

Im sure that Zim and Micah have had some conversation by now. I do think Zim should call him as the elder and it really ain't our business. Micah is making a srand as an independent contractor and the team understands it. This should have Zim pissed at FO not the player. Every hole on the roster including hold outsare a function of FO not handling business in a timely matter.

Yeah, no media coverage is anywhere near what the media coverage is for Dallas though, that's what Micah has to understand. He's going to have national and local media on his case throughout the season on every little thing. I mean even when you leave the team for years and get in trouble, they won't bring up your last team at all. They will say former Cowboys player because they know that will get them more clicks than anything else.

I think the reason being for all push back against Micah missing OTAs because he during the off season was talking about being a leader. Well a leader needs to be there to set the example for the youngers guys, to earn the right to be a leader and to be respected by the younger guys

@@CFOSports If you listen to Micah during the off season he said (I am paraphrasing) that he wanted to change the culture and wanted to be more of a leader. Well being a leader is being present. How can he expect to be a leader and get the most out of the young guys and expect the young guys to listen to him. Brandon Cooks said he never missed OTAs, because it was important to be there. I know as a young player I would have more respect for a veteran who came to OTAs although he may not need it. I would think if this guy is showing up and putting in the work, then there is definitely no excuse for me.

Where are you Micah haters coming from? He said Dak and Ceedee were ahead of him in line for raises. His every-play hustle is better than anybody's on the team. He gets held every play or he'd be breaking records. Have you seen how much time is wasted in camp by players standing around waiting for reps? The proof is in the pudding. His boxing and hand placement practice have obvious benefits on the field. Watch the tape. The team should be learning from him.
