Good tip on the potatoes the best way for me and safer is to use a nice cotton towel for the plastic bags have a lot of toxic chemical in them for their mostly of recycle waste you can also use brown paper bag just saying 😎..

Transferring the chemicals into the potatoes from the plastic bag causes metabolic problems and cancer. Towels work best. Organic is best for ingredients. Everyone chooses their preference. 🫶🏻

Love you guys!! Just a tip maybe, that plastic bag emits bad chemicals when used like that, just care about you all...not designed for use in the microwave...

My momma taught me to make hamburger stew. As we kids didn’t like sausage too much. It is 1 or 2 lbs of hamburger browned, add onion soup mix, a can of tomatoes, a can of green beans and some minced garlic and you make this in a pot. Once meat and everything is heated through, you add cans of water and enough to cook any kind of pasta. The beauty of it is you can add any kind of veggie or seasonings to it. I sometimes add until Italian seasoning. I used elbow macaroni or man n cheese package and without it with out the cheese package. It is very cheap and easy and feeds a lot of people. I hope someone will try it as I have been making this for over 45 years now. God bless you all.

I would think about doing the microwave potatoes in a glass dish instead. The plastic bags are not food grade, and can give off toxins when hot. Just something to think about. I am not a health nut, but that worries me.

You actually don’t need to use any container. I slice 1/4” off each end of potato, stab with a fork or knife 5 or 6 times, then place in microwave and cook. Makes the best baked potatoes ever!

Yes, I've found that get your kitchen sink wet, spray water on sides and bottom. Get the dried skin off onion, put it on a cutting board or a container with a 1 inch rim. I use a cutting board. Put it in the BOTTOM of the sink, and dice up your onion. When you cut up an onion, the little tiny drops of moisture goes to wet areas, your eyes! The water drops that are on the sides of your sink will attract the onion moisture, so much less will go in your eyes. The good thing about all the tears you get? Means you've got a REALLY good onion🤣 HAPPY COOKING! And this dish looks yummy! You could toss just about any vegetable or meat in it. Some bacon would be fun in this one😋 Love your show🥘🍳🥰

If you listened to Julia Childs and the french, you would brown in batches automatically. Browning is easier, and quicker, if the pan isn't overloaded. Thank-you, onion equals migraines or me, so a recipe without them is great for me. Thanks to your mum for coming up with it, in the first place. Microwaving is problematic to science, it changes the foods at a cellular level, making the nutrients less accessable. So i try to avoid them, where I can. Potato pieces will cook in 10 mins when boiled. I do potato salad with them, mine has corn and tiny raw celery dice, the prepared potato dressing here is too strong for me, so I do 50 : 50 with plan mayo. Do you guys get celery salt, it makes for so much flavour. All the best, from queensland Australia. Have you heard about our 4-ingredients recipe lady, Kim McCosker, her hubby has food intolerances, her bro is a chef, so she makes up quick and easy recipes to suit soo many folks. Her books set me up, I have a long list of intolerances. She is on face book, and puts out recipes for free too. I like chicken Parcels, with thigh fillets, basil pesto, camembert and wrapped in half a sheet of peff pastry. Good walk around lunch when cold, put it in a zip lock.

I have problems cooking because of low energy...& bite into an onion when not wanting to use a knife...then tear up a few layers of onion for chili or fried rice. Usually happy to eat as anorexia I think is symptom of cold virus. If cutting into vegetable, should bend tips of fingers under so knife goes down straighter part of fingers. Also try favorite fish fry flour seasoning on potatoes that you have diced after cooking in microwave. May be nice to dip cut potatoes in egg and milk, then dump into plate of fish fry flour....& use a small strainer with long handle to shake off excess flour. Makes it crispy. Put on tray that has nice olive & sunflower oil... under high heat broiler (350°F) until brown. Love garlic kielbasa, so your recipe is really good. Thx for sharing farm kitchen 🐴🌻

That is quick and easy recipe. Cowboy Hash is a great name too. The best part is there’s many substitutes. On your daughter, my daughter’s were both in track/field. They had a SUPERB Coach. If they didn’t place where they wanted and were disappointed, he would simply ask “Did you do the best you could”? When they said yes he’d give them a pat on the shoulder and say GOOD!

I'm a "closet" cook and like to experiment so my mind was thinking about using a good andouille sausage, and Mexican corn and instead of seasoned salt, maybe a good creole spice like "Slap Yo Mamma" or Tony Catchers!!!

I am from Ontario Canada and plastic bags are banned, ( along with plastic cutlery, and straws). Otherwise it is a new recipe for me. Love hash but sometimes the potatoes get mushy.
