This is so beautiful to watch. It made me cry, honestly, remembering how much I loved dressage, and how much I loved to ride. You looked as if you were both floating together on air, and afterward when you gave your praise to the horse, he loved it. You could tell from his stance how he loves you.

I started riding classic dressage. This is Western dressage... The differences are night and day. But they share the same foundation, "unknown user." This gentleman is riding quite well, and the horse is performing very well.

@2.23 - any horse walking on three tracks in British dressage would get zero points for the the walk. The walk in British dressage is x2 points in scoring as walk is the easiest gait to mess up. If a horse cannot walk in straight line the maybe get a career change as it is neither straight or through.

That horse is very unhappy in its mouth and back. Just another ego-tripping human on riding his slave to glory.

There is natural movement in ears, back and tail. Nothing is wrong with this horse. Enjoy your bugs in the future bot.

this has absolutely nothing to do with the meaning of dressage. He doesn't even know how to ride the movements........let alone the poor quality of the lope....this is about someone just showing off. Disgusting......

not impressed not impressed well I'm sorry you see it that way. The man and his horse have a beautiful partnership, there was nothing wrong with any of this. It's not meant to be traditional dressage either, it's going to be different. That man seemed very humble to me, he rode how was supposed to ride. Even if he was showing if he had the right to. He trained that horse wonderfully, and that's something to be proud of.

Well this horse just enters the ring flexed on his right side, it's not straight. We know all horses have one flex or concave side and a straight or hard or convex side. They use to accept the rein contact better on his convex side, and you've to work to equilibrate it and then you've an straight horse. This case in just 10 seconds of performance shows a horse that's not equal on both sides and all the reprise is in that way. So not impressed at all. Ah, oh, and yes there's contact on the mouth with a loose rein, just the weight of this is enough to make a contact in horses mouth, they're highly sensible there. I'm sorry that I can not explain better more things I see, but I'm not english speaker. Regards
