Those would work with that dress and a suit jacket, especially with the sleeves on the jacked rolled up or scrunched. Very popular look in the late 1980's-early '90s.

I’ve never been a fan of cowboy boots at all. My partner was into them for a short time period when they first moved to TX for the military. I moved out there too, but I never had a cowboy boot phase like most do. It’s kinda like how people, usually from anywhere around the age of puberty or just before puberty (like round bout middle school age) all the way up to somewhere in high school, has their “Emo phase” or their “Goth phase.” Lol. Sometimes it’s not a phase and lasts forever of course, otherwise there would be no one who is Goth/Emo/Scene or what have you, either above a certain age or into adulthood, haha. But the emo/goth/scene kid/etc phase trope is definitely prevalent or “a thing,” at least here in the US, for sure… (idk about other places, although I think it is fitting for many places in the world as I know that has to happen in other countries as well, especially Western ones… and probably even in some Eastern ones too…) But like how that happens, is apparently how it happens in the states in the Mid to Southwest US and cowboy boots. Hence how it happened to my partner. And either you grow out of the phase or you don’t. I’m glad my partner grew out of it. Definitely not their style, for example. However there was a purchase they made for a pair of cowboy boots that were pixie toed and cost over $200USD. That’s a lot of money, especially considering what happened to them! My partner left them in their old barracks room before moving into their new barracks room, which wasn’t too long before we got married. I don’t know why they didn’t sell them online on Marketplace or something, especially since they were only worn a few times (literally) so they were practically brand new, plus they cost a pretty penny and my partner definitely didn’t get their money out of them. Not at all. The reason they were hardly worn is because they were in uniform more than civilian clothing, and they only wore them on special occasions like going out, which usually was with a roommate or friend- so it wasn’t often because they didn’t have their drivers license or a vehicle yet at that point. They do now of course lol. We’ve been married for almost 8 years! Sorry for the long-winded ramble lol.
