Phoenixspin ...not at the moment...but I think we are getting there. Have felt this way for the last two, three years. That maybe in another 20 yrs or so, it will be frowned upon by the majority of society. I read a bbc article just this week about giving up beef not only for the cows themselves but to reduce the amounts of methane from cow farts. For the climate. I would rather it be for the cows as living gentle beings. Beef is delicious...but cows are beautiful and do not deserve the treatment they may receive as slaughter animals, as opposed to dairy cows. Not a vegan, but I do see the reasoning for it. As it is, my digestion doesnt handle meat products like it used to...SO, YES, SAVE THE COWS, FOR COW PURPOSES FIRST!!! WE CAN MANAGE A LITTLE LESS MEAT AS HUMANS...MOO🐄

Great video. I had horses, dairy and beef cows. Cows can become very friendly, especially dairy and cows you raise from a calf. Some learn to open gates and to sniff to see if an electric fence is on. Some want attention like a dog. As more of my calves became milkers I had to give up trying to work in the field they were in. A few would come to me and nudge my arm demanding a scratch. They were big, powerful cows now (1500 pounds or so) and could throw me in the air.

They wouldn't if the meat was raw and without seasoning. Seasoning is what gives meat a good taste. Do you value more your tastebuds or life? In our world we're lacking empathy in many aspects. Think a moment of what would you do if you were in that position and how would you feel. Also consider how much damage we're doing to our rainforests, health, environment, animals. I hope you're open minded. Thanks for reading!

Pigs especially are intelligent animals. What are we doing? I'm following my gut instincts now and going onto plant based foods, which is better for us all and the planet. He wanted to let it run, it being his only water source. As I left, I told the guard at the entrance what I had seen, and was told that they knew all about it, that the steer had done that many times. He drank from the running water, just as a dog would drink from a hose, rather than drinking from the muddy puddle.

If an alien race came to earth and “humanely” slaughtered us for our meat to please their appetite, would that be okay? Of course not. We are sentient beings, who feel, empathize, think, experience, joy and pain. Cows, chickens, pigs and other living beings have all been proven to do the same. The fact that she herds the ball toward this particular human indicates she trusts her. And gradually this instinctive behavior became a game. Happens all the time.

Then again, this cow seems to be a fjällko (fjäll, in english), known to have existed atleast since 1296, but probably since the viking age and earlier, in northern Sweden. They would not exist, nor would they have survived, if they weren't kept for, in this case, mostly their milk. People lived and died by the existence of these animals. Sweden was a poor country up until just a couple of generations back, so one shouldn't diminish the meaning of actually having cows like her around.
