My husband is from Norway and when they let their cows out for the season, the animals kick up their hooves and run and gambol about with obvious joy. Many videos online of this event there if you're interested. This video reminds me of that, but with the added joy of your BC pack going along for the ride. Wonderful video Sean. Blessings to you and Stacey.

I follow a chimpanzee Sanctuary that adopted four from another Sanctuary that was closing down. The cows keep the upper pastures short on the grass, so that when Wildfire season comes, the fire will not come close to the sanctuary the way it did years ago. When they go from the upper pasture to the lower pasture, they have the same reaction

It was such a nice video. Kate, Echo and storm riding together. Enjoyed the beautiful scenery. 😍
I love seeing you and the border collies going to work. The BCs, waiting with bated breath, in suspended animation, for the moment it will be their turn to run. Thanks for the video! It's hot and windy where I am today. It's nice to see the clouds of Scotland. 😎
Thank you Sean for sharing such wonderful videos of farm life. Love the border collies!
I love the shots of you driving framed by the three happy pupfaces so filled with anticipation! They are beautiful. I love seeing the countryside too. Oh spring.... Great video! ❤

Just got home form work, Nebraska USA, and took a quick trip to a Scottish farm. Absolutely beautiful and so relaxing. I love ALL the animals. Thank you Sean!
Thank you for the lovely video of what you do and the gorgeous countryside. Of course, seeing your faithful BC along to help if you need them is always a treat. Praying for you and Stacy and your wee one coming!
My first impression of this check up of the cattle and sheep is the huge amount of pasture land, thus a huge farm you manage, Sean. I m thinking that you showed us only half the cattle (the young ones; yearlings and a few 18 months old), and we didn’t get to see how large the sheep herds are. The fact that you have enuf time to share and edit your videos for us and be a UTube business operator is outstanding. Truly amazing. I m grateful you can give your subscribers so much content!! I know Stacey gives it her all too, but now she is pregnant and soon to be a Mama, so, goodness me, you guys will be so busy!!! Of course, we fans will love anything you will be able to and willing to share! 👍🥰 I loved that the 3 BC’s were coming along for the ride. That first scene of the heifers, it was wonderful to see that sole pheasant walking on the grass and didn’t fly away as you were approaching the teenage girls, who were happy to be outside and gamboled after you as you went to check on the yearling bullocks. Like I said, you showed us a huge amount of pasture land, which indicates to me that you manage large herds of sheep and cattle, so you have a lot of heavy work to do on the upkeep of fences, the barns, the run in sheds; moving the herds from one pasture to another, (don’t know if you make hay too) the well-being of the herds, and if you need to shear the sheep or not, but adding in that work is another huge animal management! Kate, Storm and Echo loved the time with you, just as passengers, this trip. Btw, where were your little herd of black sheep hiding out? Forgot the type you said they were, but I know they are quality sheep with a luxurious fleece. Thx for that amazing perspective of Springtime animal husbandry in this niche of Scotland. I appreciate yours and Stacey’s time, effort and editing of your vlog content and life as a herd animal farmer in Scotland! Peace, Love, and Blessings to you, Stacey, and baby bump! 👍🥰💗🐂❤🐑❤🐕🦺🐕🦺🐕🦺❤💗

Excellent to see the cows and sheep. Beautiful countryside. How great to see the three pups. Well done!
Keeping an eye out on heifers isn't an easy job. Their inexperience can cause trouble. Good job, Sean 😊
Beautiful border collies. They are my favorite.
Ah, the cows and calves look so happy to run and stretch their legs and get to that good grass. They all seem fit and healthy. I was reminded of Switzerland and the bells the lead cows wear. You could hear them all the time, sometimes only faintly, but it was a sweet sound. You and Stacey and the pups take care and thank you.

Just so people don’t get confused. “ock” is an English suffix that can have multiple meanings. One of the meanings pertains to Ox, which most Americans don’t know cause we call them cow or bull. Essentially an Ox is any member of the T1 taurids of Bos Taurus. In other places variants are called Yak or Zebu, god only knows what in Africa. The plural of Ox is oxen, but in America that has become Cattle and the word Oxen, pretty much not used is referring to draft/riding Ox, which we American abandoned in favor of the horse and donkey, and then the truck and ATV. “The “ock” suffix variant appears in Auroch “Both "aur" and "ur" are Germanic or Celtic words meaning "wild ox". In Old High German this word was compounded with ohso ('ox') to ūrohso, which became the early modern Aurochs.” “ OK. So why the spill here. Well it’s get more confusing and if you happen to know the American or Australian meaning then you might notice his Bullock are missing some body parts. “Bullock (in British English), a castrated male bovine animal of any age Bullock (in American English), a young bull (an uncastrated male bovine animal) Bullock (in Australia, India and New Zealand), an ox, an adult male bovine used for draught (usually but not always castrated)” In America a castrated bull is called a steer. Mooooooo. Let those dangly part dangle Mr sheep man.

And derived from this of course is the impolite “bo**ocks” - used to denote something as unworthy, useless, unbelievable: as in, “That’s just a load of old bo**ocks!” 😊

Lovely countryside and to see the cows running and kicking in the grass - so free. Send a video of the dogs herding soon - they are my favorite. Hope your wife is well.
I love these videos. Sean the sheep man, you are living the life. I sit at my desk here in Detroit, and don't get me wrong, I love the work I am doing, but when I need a quick break, it's so great to watch one of your videos. The stars are the collies! They are as focused as lasers and wound as tightly as springs. They would be the envy of the confined suburban dogs around me. There's always something quietly humorous in the contrast between your mellowness and the dogs' intensity.
They look so very happy!!!! The cows and dogs as well....Kate and

that last clip at 6:40 is adorable.
What a lovely video this was, Sean! Getting to see Kate, Storm and Echo at their staff meeting on an earlier video was fun, especially seeing wiggle-worm Storm wiggle right on off the cart had me laughing out loud. Oh, Stormie, you silly girl! Your producing skills just keep getting better and better, as evidenced by this video. This was definitely a feel-good film watching the cows kicking up their heels while ĥeading out to pasture. I love cows, so seeing them so happy, brought a big goofy smile to my face 😜. This spring/summer in Scotland has seen your herds of cows and flocks of sheep produce hundreds and hundreds of new lambs and calves. I hope the owners of the various farms who employ you appreciate your work ethic, which is above reproach, and your care and dedication to the vast number of animals under your care. I'm glad you got through the winter fairly well, except for that one incident when you got that big knot and stitches to your head. And your crew of working dogs - our Kate, Storm and Echo - seem to be as healthy as ever. It's May 10th which means in three more works, it'll be June 1st and the back-breaking task of shearing all those sheep will be upon you. I don’t know how you manage to do all that you do. (I realize there are other people who work on the farms, as well.) You're amazing, Sean! 🐾☘️🐾🪻🐾🌹🐾🥀 Hello to Stacey. I hope you're doing well. Take care of yourself.💐🌻🌺💕

Such beautiful country, just breath taking!!
Fun to see the bullock running after you. Suggestion for a future video: see if there's a musical instrumentalist or a band that will come to play for the cattle, or even the sheep. I love the Yorkshire musicians attracting the curious cattle up to the fence.

They are!
I follow a shepherdess who raises sheep here in Canada. She has a border collie and two other mixed-breed dogs. She raises her sheep in pens in a large barn, but she still finds it necessary to move them to different pens. She used to try to prevent the B.C. from "herding" her sheep. People in the comments encouraged her to let the dog try to help her under controlled conditions. She did so, and you would probably assume that this dog has had at least some limited training. Not only does she move them along, but also obeys her commands. All this with absolutely no training. The other dogs have also learned to "herd" just from watching the B.C. because neither of them is a herding breed. It's amazing what selective breeding can do.
I do love BCs - yours are a happy bunch ❤
Everyone looks happy

It’s gorse; a very common woody and quite prickly shrub with a scent of coconut when in bloom. Sometimes confused from a distance with broom, which also has yellow flowers but a different form (hence the name).
