That chute with it’s contraptions is certainly a multipurpose device. It was heart-warming to see the little calf quietly nurse and obediently follow the cow. Congratulations on your success!!!
Isaac, you are so kind and loving to your animals. Very comforting to know they are so well cared for. Great video, thanks
I like her reaction at like 9:50, she turns around looks at him, and says oh no not him!!
Love the little guy's persistence. "I'm hungry." "Cut it out!!" "I'm hungry." "Cut it out!" "I'm hungry." "Cut it out." "I'm hungry." "Ok fine. Just let me eat my grass."
The love of a mother. She probably feels better having that bag drained . You do a good job setting it up for hertoo. Great video. Pax.

Even though baby calf will be sold has beef he said 😥
That is such a cute calf love the markings. So happy she loving that new baby!
I love it when a plan comes together 🙂. Congrats and continued success
A good mother cow and a persistent calf are a good combination I suppose. Good to see it went well.
As a mother who couldn't feed her baby because he had medical complications I can tell you just how bad it hurts to be full of milk unable to feed my baby...
I love that Momma! What a gentle cow!! Congrats on the adoption! Love from Oklahoma! 💗💗💗
Love these happy endings. Sorry for the lost calf. I really enjoy your videos. Thank you for sharing.
You are so good to your cattle and talk to them to keep them calm.
Surrogate coupling is a very difficult challenge. Well done!! Amazing effort to pair a cow who lost a baby with a calf who lost his mom! Well done! Awesomeness!!! I’m so happy with your effort to encourage this!
That cow momma is awesome accepting that calf so readily, I’m still sad the way her calf died!
Nice! She is beginning to accept her new calf. Hope all goes well.
That calf is adorable..love the markings and colors...🤎🤍🤎 Enjoyed the video...I think this ones gonna be a happy ending 🤞

Wow. That's a great nurse cow. She's a keeper. 👍👍
Great success!
That is so awesome. What a great cow.
Isaac, thanks for all your efforts to show people not only the business side of farming but also the personal side. After this cow losing her calf... wow. And then you went out and got a new calf, despite how busy you are in the spring... and filmed what it takes to get her to adopt it. Great work. We all learn so much from your videos! This one and the last one would be so good for a school lesson.

↑↑↑ this ↑↑↑ My thoughts while watching the first half(?) were "this NEEDS to be shown to some trade associations and whatever to get it out into the non-farming public at large". Seriously, it conveys every reason for doing this in a logical way without pandering to the emotional aspect. For some odd reason many people think that livestock is treated like they don't matter to the farmer/rancher even though that animal is a large investment AND the means by which the farmer/rancher lives. Life must really suck for them, thinking that all humans are by nature inhumane and short-sighted. Then again, maybe they're smug - think that they are superior to others?
Great job
So adorable
Ur a good farmer
This looks great I'm sure she accepts him. Nice work have a great day.
Love the vid
Nice!
I swear sometimes the tame cattle are harder to work. no flight response to push them through
Best of luck that's a good cow
Success!

Extra grain whats he up too. Oh wants me to work more and raise this one tooo. Never a free lunch at this farm for sure.
Grass is the perfect food for her
Nice...good mom
beautiful
My jersey nurse cow will let 3 at a time she doesn't mind. Nurse cows are were the money is.
Nice calf! What breed is this calf? Looks like a Jersey Cross with a Holiston to me.
👍👍🤠
What happened to the calf's original mother? Won't she miss him, too?
Slightly different with sheep. When an ewe has a stillborn, give a triplet usually from another ewe, but got to wrap it in the skin of the stillborn lamb otherwise no go. Only two teats on sheep, and goats, so good to move a triplet from the original mother. Got to leave them isolated for a few days, away from original mother. All is okay then.
Why was the calf taken from his mother?
What happened to his mom?
Ahh don’t sell him please keep him 🤗
Great adoption, Issac, I do like the fact that your main aim is to produce meat from grass. I watch other American channels where the carbon footprint producing meat from combinable crops must be cost to force them on quicker, and the meat is not as healthy as grass fed. I hope there is a premium market for grass fed beef.
so cruel what they are doing to this little baby, awful dairy industry.
Is this a wives tale milk a cow feed that milk to orphaned calf then then mom smells rear end and thinks its her calf?

I think there is some truth to it. I have always heard it too. We have tried it before and I’m not so sure it really worked. It may have helped a small bit but definitely didn’t make it easy.
Why take that calf from his real Momma? Doesn't that leave her in the same position?
