Y’all are so cute. I live in Austin, Texas, in the city. Austin is not a big city but it is big enough at about a million people. It is very hot here. Sometime watch the weather and check it out. In the summer it can get up to 120 f in my back yard. I used to have a house located on Lake LBJ where it was even hotter! I enjoy your videos! I am a grandmother of 8 grandkids. I have two dogs and a cat. When I was growing up I had a horse. We lived close to Houston but sadly not on a farm. We boarded our horse named “Popcorn” because he liked to kick up his heels with me in the saddle! I wish I could go to Scotland and see where you live and visit the farm. Happy years to you! Cutie pies! Meemo!

The afterbirth, which Gracie ate, is extremely nutritious. The way she protects and cleans her baby: She’s such a good mum!!!

Gracie 812 is probably one of the most famous cows alive today. Followed her from Hoof GP all the way. She is one special cow.

Gracie’s calf is a real champion like her mother. I hope they can stay together as long as possible, although she seems quite independent.

She is so adorable, strong and smart like her mommy. If you haven't named her yet, I think a good name for her would be "Faith". I thought of that because of the issues Gracie had, and the fact that everyone definitely had to have faith that she would get better.

Missed you all too! Home schooling has been tough as it’s exam year for me but no exams can be sat so all judged on work so been putting in lots!

Gracie’s calf is adorable and special just like her. Will Gracie remain with you as she ages? I know that is not normal in farm life but she is a special girl.

Ahhhhh, how sweet ❣️ I’m excited about Gracie doing so good! I will never forget when Greame was caring for her, and she had such a terrible wound in her hoof, that she could hardly walk. I have a picture of Gracie up in our TV room, so I think about her all the time. Our grandparents had a wonderful milk cow named Ol Speck. When she had her calves, we would have to take them away after several days, because the milk had way to much cream in it. Your doing such a great job of taking care of “our” girl-Thanks

She just kept drinking! Didn’t suckle mum so I fed her a few times during the day and night. She’s doing great.

This reminded me of when I was your age . 51 now and I am proud of it. At your age I used to go and feed the calves with milk bottles, and in those days we used the ends of old rubber gloves for the calf to suckle on . Could not afford luxury things like a bucket. LOL. It is nice to see the youth of today mucking in with this ( as a helping term mucking in.) Bless. I have just become a member of the Hoof GP and seen this vid I have now subscribed to your channel. Keep making these contents and I am going to watch more thank you for taking me back , it was really great to remember those child hood days living on the farm. Also thanks for keeping us informed on Gracie, as she was the first video I watched on the HGP and it is lovely to see her with a calf and still walking great .Loved this content, Be seeing you more. s

Sadly her foot has become sore again over the last couple of weeks. She’s had meds but not helped much. The Hoof GP is coming to see her on Monday 😔
