The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in an abrupt decline in tourism to Namibia and Botswana. This has had a significant impacts on communities alongside wildlife areas where international tourism is vital for their livelihoods.
Since April 2020 The Natural Selection Foundation has been supporting vulnerable communities living in these remote villages delivering monthly food parcels.
To date we have provided over 520 000 meals and are now seeking additional funds to bolster our resources to provide food parcels for another two months until the summer rains arrive and crops are harvested.
