    how can you put the stencil on and see that it's not completely covering the old tattoo and you're ok with that??? like that would trigger me so badly to still be able to see that letter n 😣

    Yup that little piece the was left out of the cover up made me so mad they didn’t take the time to re position the tattoo

    The modern person doesn’t know that a cover up isn’t really covering the name but more like camouflaging it. I think it looks great, awesome job! These tattoos look darker, brighter, and better when they’re healed.

    Camouflage means making difficoult to see what really is there. The old tattoo is plain visible now that it's fresh inked just wait for it to heal and you'll be able to read the name straight away Camouflage my ass

    These comments.... 😅 This is a BEAUTIFUL color coverup over black lettering. The client most likely understood that the tattoo wouldn’t disappear and people with enough tattoos understand that too. Beautiful work. ❤️ If you made it this far, stay safe and wear your masks!

    But you can actually do a good coverup where the old tattoo can't be seen anymore even when it heals. It's a decent tattoo but it's a bad coverup.

    I'm curious as to why the whole old tattoo wasn't covered. I can see some of the last letter poking through in the last flower by the leaf

    You can still see the old tatt peeking thru especially the part where the stencil didnt reach & thru the green. Its pretty but dont think its a successful "cover up".

    I thought the same. Needs a darker more saturated color like purple to go over the black. Hope they’re fine with getting touch ups for when it fades because it’ll probably have to be touched up

    It doesn't need to be heal I can see Annem right now... I just think about the pain....I have a little tattoo on this side of my arm and it hurted my ass off lol....

    Regardless of the old tattoo I think this new one is beautifully done. I love the precision on the flower petals that they’re all the same size and the line work is great. Love the style good job!

    @@ryn.999 if you don't like that little piece of letter being visible you would absolutely hate this tattoo in a few months. It's a nice tatoo but an horrible cover up, the word is gonna be totally visible when the skin heals

    Nice job hitting the leaf darkest to lightest it blended perfectly and the white lifted the small spots i think alot of people get color because they are tired of the heavy black look and its refreshing GREAT WORK!

    This has nothing to do with negativity. The artist was paid to do a cover up, cover ups have rules to respect otherwise the old tatoo is gonna be plain visible in no time and the client will have to pay for a new cover up again because the first one was shit.

    Lula Lauryn i wasnt starting hard but that’s not that easy to believe since it actually is a pretty small hiccup but it literally just screams at me. It was one of the first things I noticed. Yeah most people wouldn’t see it, but things like that just stick out to me. I hope it was intentional because I feel like both the artist and the canvas had to have noticed it before they started tattooing.
