One of the VERY BEST FA CUP FINALS.

This was a great time to be a cov city fan an I remember the open top bus parade on the Sunday an me an my mate along with others climbed on top of the 21 bus shelter to in Broad Gate to get a good view, what a weekend brilliant.

I was actually there. It’s great when less fashionable teams get a piece of the pie. The FA Cup was a much bigger deal in those days. Sadly John Sillett passed away recently.

Was there from scotland when i was 9 , i remember the water in the fountain got turned sky blue @@😊

I can understand why any neutral would say this is one of the best ever FA Cup Finals, but for Spurs fans like me - we hated it.

Magical day, I was there, and at the parade in Coventry. I live in Bangkok these days.

I was at the semi final but never got to the final but i was in Coventry for the aftermath I was 9 at the time , scottish sky blue army , let's all sing together !!

I was only 5 but still distinctively recall watching the parade on Grandstand and various parts of the city decked out in blue and white decot

Sadly before my time. My mum still talks about this day though. PUSB 💙💙

such a great day, in truth we all thought they would fall at the last hurdle we had our dreams broken so many times before it was amazing i was so high on the joy that alcohol had no effect on me it was truly a wonderful day and so inspiring to myself and others.

Was being crushed outside owen and owen when they brought the trophy home, amazing day. Now you look at the attendance at the ricoh it looks like the city centre during FA cup day..empty :(

Yes me also. I was sort of carried along, next to the bus, by the crowd. I was literally near the back wheel. Some guy helped me get out of the crowd. I thank him for this (if your reading). There were people sat on top of Owen Qwen and The Godiva clock. What a memorable day though in our history.

I'm quite sure I remember being in cov after the final and there was a fountain next to fishy Moores the chippy and the water was coloured sky blue , scotland here😊

My uncle moved to Scotland he got me into it after marrying my auntie , his name is gray short for Grahame but when I was a wee guy I called him blue , I knew his name was a colour but called him that coz of the city , he's got an emerald Isle cov/celtic scarf , I was surprised when I seen it coz I never knew there was a celtic supporters club down the old cov hahaha the first football match I went to to was cov v Birmingham was when I was 6 or there abouts , let's all sing together ❤

Amazing day..I was stood on the corner of Owen and Owen, Broadgate was just a huge mass of fans, you couldn't move. Now we are dead as a club. R.I.P Sky Blues, murdered by SISU

Those days are gone for sure. I just hope that somewhere down the line the club is somehow resurrected. People don't appreciate how a football can raise the morale of a city and unite people

We won that day cos we was fit! - Mark Robins said the other day we are not fit enough - that coupled with crap owners is the the reason we will be in Division 4 in 17/18!
