My Dad is a Semi driver for Walmart Semi Division! I would love to see an episode with them! He just got a brand new 2023 Cascadia with a 10 speed manual! He has over 21 years of driving and I showed him this video and he said it’s really good, he said he just wishes pre-trips where that short and sweet!😂😂 Much love💜

Probably because there’s nothing much to see, do, or note about a small city. It’s not like people come to the United States to visit a boring city. From what I’ve seen, ats does a great job of re-creating cities like Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco, even Portland Oregon.

@@grahamhill7913yeah Portland it’s pretty well modeled. The bridge that you drive over when passing downtown is the Marquam bridge and I drive through there every day. The immeaduate interchange after/on the bridge to the start of interstate 84 is perfectly modeled and the skyline in the city is pretty accurate. They even have the truck stop on the north side of the city exactly where the Jubitz truck stop is near the interstate bridge into Washington.

@@grahamhill7913 although portland is decent the rest of oregon is kinda ass coming from an oregonian, like all of highway 26 is gone and there’s no mt hood gresham or any of that, some of the most populated areas with high trucking traffic are still missing from the game and it’s kinda sad

Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota are a few of my favorite states to drive a semi in. big truck stops, plenty of parking and its beautiful up there

Hey mate great vid again, that Aussie outback mod & the driving school thing I can't wait to see more of, everything has come so far since when I used to play truck sims like 18 wish (wheels of steel) - pedel to the metal was my personal fav & u do a great job at covering everything & had a feeling it was gonna be a sound mod ... & Yeah that's the world we live in ppl want nothing but perfection and don't appreciate the time & effort ppl put in to get these things to em All the best looking forward to whats in store this year and more lspdfr & ocrp as u know U ever plan on doing something with Zach dave & them boys again, would make a fantastic reunion even if it's just a once off thing

Good lord the real companies mod along with the truck stops really boost this game. Now they just need to add the option to get out of the truck and connect air lines and adjust tandems. I'd even like to see them add the option of HOS. Along with driver fatigue HOS logs would be cool.

My weekend was good! I tried golfing at a real course and I have a hard time controlling the ball lol. You should also drive as USA Truck one day. I am also excited for the new engine upgrade. It’s Desperately needed. I also heard that SCS is also working on audio as well. Who knows if it’ll be any good but here’s to hoping! I feel it’s probably the graphics mod that’s causing the stuttering. Only one way to find out. As For those who have issues with the mods, let’s see them do better. I think the car sounded great and a fun add on. Enjoyed the ATS vid. Thank you Jeff.

I don't call them super truckers I call them arm chair truckers. Must of them aren't real truckers they just wanna complain about anything. As a real truckers and a trainer I like to help anyone back because it's not easy and not everyone can do it. The biggest thing to remember is if you wanna fix a mistake: Pull straight ahead, don't turn the wheel then when you back steer towards the error and it'll correct it. Usually those little tips help people the most. You're really good at backing almost as if you really are a trucker!! Love the ATS content. I play ATS in my truck all the time on the road.

"You gotta force your way onto the highway" I used to play this game called '18 Wheels of Steel: American Long Haul', and if you had lets say your left blinker on, and there was a car in the left lane behind you, they would stop, they will stop for your blinker, even if you have your hazards on on the side of the road, they will still stop... That game is fun, little outdated with graphics but still fun, I recommend it

Man, I love the videos, keep doing what you do I would love to see you post some videos of some EverGreen trucks. The company is based out of Liberty, MS. If not them, than maybe an A&R Logístics truck or a Western Transportation truck Or maybe just a bull wagon being pulled by a 389, nothing fancy, just chicken lights down the side of the truck and on the breathers and maybe some lights behind the sleeper

Regarding the stutters... try removing JBX and just running Project NextGen as your graphics mod. Running two graphics mods that largely do the same thing can cause problems. I was encountering some stutters, and this also helped to eliminate them: -mm_max_resource_size 90 -mm_max_tmp_buffers_size 1000 -mm_pool_size 32768 Set mm_pool_size to half your memory size. I have 64GB, so my mm_pool_size is set to 32768. Good luck, hope you are able to fix your stuttering issues!

@@jfavignano For PNG, I'm running the PBR roads and the Base and Weather textures. So no issues with PBR roads here, but YMMV. Good luck, hope you figure it out. Would definitely exclude JBX, and try it leaving everything else active.

I know the pain of the stutters Jeff. In all honesty Utah out of any other state was the worse for me and my PC, so I pray to God SCS gets it fixed one day.

I totally agree, everyone always complains because they have no idea of the work involved with these mods. When you mod games yourself, it gives you a sense of reality of how difficult they actually are to make, so you respect it and enjoy it so much more.

Great vid! I'm running a Ryzen 7 with a 2070 Super and while I've seen stutters, they haven't been as bad as yours. Mine are more like just a little bit of a slow down with frames dropping from 60 to low 40s. I sorted my mod order and that seems to have improved things for me but I wont say its totally fixed.

Ah man I remember when I was at Prime Inc CDL school and literally reciting “ not cracked bent or broken” “no abrasion, bulges or cuts” so many times that on my actual testing day I forgot how to recite it the right way the minute I found out a trooper was joining my instructor lol but some how I pulled the trifecta 😮‍💨 and made sure I never forgot to to recite those two phrases during my pre trips

Awesome vid as always, did you know you can slide your tandems, kinda , press f7 trailer configuration, you have to be empty though, looking at getting a track ir as well , that'll be a game changer!

Honestly, speaking of Fleet Trucks in ATS, my single player save that I run as a company driver has several trucks decked out in Walmart schemes, seeing that Walmart (Walbert for Vanilla ATS) is everywhere in the game lol.

I'm seeing alot add on mods (Ats) Jeff wasn't their 2 year ago roads are clearer, people in game starting move around more & weather is realistic. 10:43 u & ur friends Jeff are going to IMSA 24Hrs Of Daytona race this weekend that's pretty awesome to attended @.

Hey Jeff, if you want those lags fixed, I have quite a bit of experience with ATS and ETS2 with solving these stutters. Beyond verifying your game settings (mirrors specifically), you should start by perma-enabling the console so that it runs while you drive and shows any errors as you play. At the exact moment your game stutters, check what error is thrown, it is likely it is due to a traffic model and/or parked model loading. If you do not get an error, disable traffic completely with g_traffic = 0. If the stutter disappears, you know its linked to traffic mods. It could also be due to a lack of SSD, or wrong launch arguments, or windows page file size. Of course, it could also be due to your Nvidia setup, but I doubt it. I dealt with these kind of stutters before and it was in 99% of the cases lagging while the console was writing a specific error message related to a specific mod. There are also some lesser known console commands that can be tested, and things to tweak in your config file. My game FINALLY runs without these stutters on high and ultra with a worse rig than yours so the performance you have on your vids is not optimal. You should not have these kind of lags with your setup, there is likely something incorrect with how your ATS is set up, is what I can tell from watching several of your trucking vids. Let me know if you want more help, I'm glad to help out.

Next time on the second drop off I would try coming the other way around so you only have to swing around the trailer and you have more room for the tractor
