An amazing place, which I am so glad to have visited. . I am British too, like another person posting here. Without Covadonga, no Reconquista, and a Spain subjected to Moorish rule. Viva Espana! Viva Asturias!

You forgot Visigothic Nobleman Pelayo, Valiant Warrior King of North. King of Asturias. Crowned KIng by the loyal men who fought along side him. Seeder of the Reconquista. A 700 year war spanning from generation to generation. Spawning hundreds of battles and warriors like Rodrigo Diaz de Vivar. AkA El Cid.

I love Spain - everything about it. Northern Spain, Espana Verde is often overlooked and its natural beauty is unsurpassed. Even the man made additions particularly in Asturias are particularly attractive.

This video gives me some sort of peace, beautiful peace, and at the same time makes me want to cry remembering all the good souls who took care of me when I was a little child. God bless people of good will! It is time to go back to good, truth, obedience to God.

@@hoselui I have no problem with free speech when it's to promote human values. I'm portuguese myself, arguably from the least "moorish" of all parts of Portugal (the north) and have no patience for people using culture of history to defend their warped worlviews. This peninsula's people is born out of a mix of celts, iberians, moors, visgoths, suebi, romans, phoenicians etc....a history of MANY different kinds of people and religions. "History buffs" like yourself, conveniently forget that.
I'll be there in 10 days. My heart is ready!
