Tony ward revealed his couture spring summer 2019 collection during Paris Haute Couture week at L’Ecole de Medecine on 21st January. The collection was inspired by the anatomy of a dragonfly and its behaviour, which created gowns that floated in a fast yet graceful movement down the catwalk. The looks were reminiscent of wings,and the voluminous structures that gohand in hand with how the dragonfly moves and appears. There were holographic embroideries that resembled the colours and patterns on the dragonfly and headpieces to accentuate both colour and structure.

This is such an elegant, refined collection. The models walk, the makeup, the perfected hair and just the right amount of sparkle everywhere made this an amazing show. I loved the simple silhouettes and detailed sparkly elements. Such a perfect, beautiful balance. Loved it.

Oh my God!!! Every single one is created Masterfully!!! This is real Couture... the clothes made to enhance the body... and to fit perfectly... I can't say enough wonderful about Tony Ward...

The dresses are very glamorous. Thank you for not having the gowns to short exposing the women's private area. The designs are just enough for women not to feel conscious at adjusting all the time. Absolutely beautiful.
This fashion is beyond beautiful. The green one shoulder is incredible, if I had to pick one. Why don't we see his designs at the Oscars?

MODELS DRESS CLUNG THE SLIM AND SLENDER WAIST AND FLAIR SCATTERED ON THE FLOOR WITH VARIOUS DESIGNS LIKE PEPLUMS , TUBE NECK OFF SHOULDER ,SHIRRING DONE ON SKIRTS , PEARL WORK ON THE BOSOM, AND A STRING OF PEARLS HUNG IN THE FORM OF LEAF AT THE LEFT SIDE OF GOWN .

It seems every evening collection has trains on the gowns. Not loving it.

Women with the good body shape should wear these dresses, but most other normal size ladies are not presented here

the haute couture garments are designed for a very exclusive clientele, due to the high cost of the garments there are very few who can afford the costumes, it is not designed for everyone! Many of the clients have the same sizes as the models!

Certainly women of all shapes and sizes can wear this collection. These crafts ppl are masters at their trade and know how to shape the body to compliment any figure.. It’s the “masses” that are complaining that models are too skinny or that the fuller figured women not being represented on the runway. These ppl are not the clientele nor will they ever order a dress. In this context, you never hear the 1% who actually do place orders complaining about “model sizes”. Many of the clientele come from cultural backgrounds where the standard of beauty is actually a fuller figured women. So do you listen to the “masses” just to quite their insecurities or do you focus your attention on your paying clients who are clearly not bothered by model sizes and knowing they are seeing a mere “representation” of what they could order this season?

@@mapleleaf1185 completely agree with you, also there is no such thing as "good body shape". All bodies are fine as long as they are healthy. The problem is that skinny is seen as better than overweight, even idealized, when neither of them are truly healthy
