I’m an artist I wanted to tell you something hope you don’t mind take two tall items like small garbage cans put on top of the table and get a wood that’s light and run it across the table like 12 wide inches and the size of your table and cover it with another white sheetalso you can put it behind the counter so that way you can keep your cash whatever you want there and it gives it height actually more good luck. Idk if you've scaled up but a virtual pos like square or stripe will keep good inventory and have a daily sales report
This is beautiful. How do you keep your baked good from melting in the heat. I had my first event this weekend and my butter cream in my cupcakes melted in the heat. 😢
i’m doing my first pop up next week, what frosting do you use on your cupcake? i’m nervous of frosting melting. how do you keep them fresh without them refrigerated?

@@Marishascakes I'm having surgery this Tuesday to have ankle implants removed after being in for ten years...they were not the correct one. Doctor has advised that the outcome can be potentially brutal so my days of standing for long periods of time aren't likely. I can keep watching you and your growing business! I'm in Pennsylvania too. Pittsburgh!

Yes. I knew the foot traffic wasn't going to be heavy for this event so I did light numbers. 12 to 15 of each cupcake flavor. One half hotel pan of cake, 16 parfaits. Etc. It was a guessing game since I didn't know the amount of people that might show and hadn't done this in a while. But it helped me set the numbers for my upcoming events. I'll make sure to talk about that in the next video also.

I make my frosting a little more shelf stable with shortening. And I mainly do events in fall, winter and spring. Only indoors during summer. Best thing is you can make a menu that doesn't have frosting.

I use facebook and eventbrite to search for vendor events and fairs near me.

Sometimes I get a little melting but not much. Just a matter of strategic planning. Check out my latest vendor event to see the coolers I use and how. I also make sure there's no direct sun on my table.

It actually wasn't too hot. But I only pull out what I need and keep the others cold. If i have to I also open the door of the cupcake box for air flow - that helps.
