And now she's getting the attention she so desperately needed. 🙄 All the women she listed are more successful and beloved by fans than she's ever been.

She's no longer relevant that's her problem this is the only way she can get press coverage now what has she done that's worth notice lately?

Not to you, but she was prerry relevant in the 90s, you don't realize how many bands and female artists she did influence. She's revelant enough such that millions of people think of her everyday. Voilà, I already forgot about Lana del Rey, only knew abour her, because of an ex-girlfriend, I never liked it and fond it underwhelming and boring, not bad, but nothing special. Taylor Swift is nothing special neither, but I respect her going about her business without losing her mind, and the care she gives to her fans considering how big she is, but bores me worse than Lana, especially her newest song is prepubescent at best. Rihanna was never my cup of tea and hated reading about her private life about which I didn't care but couldn't avoid duento mainstream media, her doing a country album interests me zero, even the concept is a fake attempt at authenticity killing authenticity. Country is pretty lame music with very few exceptions, and even then couldn't bother about chickenfarm hillbilly music, except for dueling banjos, maybe... Point is, Courtney who's been part of a music scene that was spectacular and pushing music forwards to say the least, says what she think for good reasons. Artists had it harder back in the days and were flawless compared to today's artist's who have all sorts of tricks to do seamless shows, all finely produced with a ton of effects, while in the past artists were raw and original, even Courtney, and she may not be the opera singer and was freaking raw and dissonant, but it rocked and was awesome and unheard of, especially earlier days of Hole, and she sung for faith no more which is insane to think about. However what makes her life very relevant is her biography and all the things she did and had to endure to even remotely succeed, and also all the good she did to people who needed help. People will easily point at her calling her a hateful narcissist, but, it's normal due to all then abuse she's been through and hate she got, when all she needed was a bit of love and attention. This is psychology, not anything else. However she is a better person now, and still cares about people, especially female artists, and more so artists who deserve better, but don't get spotlight because of big businesses' preference for easy radiofriendly mediocrity, and also mainstream artists make it hard for other emerging artists to get any chance to compete. There is not much variety anymore in the mainstream, you should check mtv in 90s and compare to what it has become. Now it's mostly advertising and the cheesiest and most monotonous music of human history. Ok music for ok people, but no great music at all. Success doesn't mean great music, fortunately so! Glad that real music doesn't depend on success or fame.

Her music went nowhere go figure. The only reason she's relevant because of Kurt Cobain and his daughter.
