She doesn’t have a favorite, they all are. She puts her feelings into my heart and soul. No one has done that including Janis Joplin, Johnny and Edgar Winter. I played bass with them thru high school. They were are all good, she is better. That’s my opinion.

Hi HAP. A second Courtney reaction today. Doesn't get any better than that. Another great reaction. As always, Courtney took a song and 'Courterized' it. This was originally a pop song hit by the Jonas Bros and Courtney turned it into a Funk masterpiece. This is just unbelievably good and I defy any one to listen to this song and remain still. Courtney's rendition just doesn't allow it. It pulls you right along with it and forces you to move to it's beat. It is such a catchy and upbeat performance that it can't help but put a smile on your face and a bounce in your step. No disrespect to the Jonas Bros., but from the second I heard Courtney's layout of this song and what she had done with her rendition of it, I really had no desire to ever hear the original again. As far as I'm concerned, Courtney now owns this song. Even though you've reacted to a number of Courtney's songs, everything you've done (with the exception of her Christmas song, 'Happy Xmas'), has been very uptempo. That style is only one side of Courtney. You really need to hear a couple of her ballad style songs. Not only does it show a completely different singing style from Courtney, it also shows her tremendous vocal versatility and what a truly beautiful voice she has. The two links I've (and other commenters) put below are from the same set of covers that Courtney did with these same two musicians, but they are more of a ballad style. I think you will be completely blown away by just how great Courtney is in this style of music. Not to worry though. I hope you keep going with the Courtney reactions, Hap. You are getting a picture of just how unique she is. Again, if you get familiar with the original songs she is covering you can even better appreciate how she makes them better! At least you seemed to be familiar with the Jonas Brothers in general, and you can tell her style would be quite different. Nobody brings grit and emotion to a singing performance better than Courtney--she commands your attention from start to finish!

She could make it to No1 in the charts just with this song! One word AWESOME!

People talk about Courtney as a cover artist and dismiss her. She is no different than someone like Whitney Houston who covered Dolly Parton’s “I will always love you”. Big artist cover songs and make it their own all the time. It doesn’t take anything away from their own talent. I’ve watched reactions to Dolly and they are shocked that it was originally a Dolly song. It is fun to watch.

Hap, Thank you for this great reaction to this cover by Courtney. You should go back and listen to the original by the Jonas Brothers and then listen to Courtney’s again. You will really be AMAZED then.

Love her wildly. She doesn't sound angry to me, more like she's in pain over this relationship.

I'm the other way, Andy--you always need Courtney, but occasional pop is ok (just for comparison).

I think it needs more cowbell!!! She has calmed down her dancing which let's us concentrate on the vocals which are spectacular. She is high energy so you'd better be happy or angry to get into this. Great reaction Hap!!

Courtney's also calmed down on her dancing because she's not on the big stage, david. It will be interesting to see her show when she does get there; I suspect she will still be electrifying and owning the stage!

@@rickrhoden1 Yep, I'm curious to see how she's moved forward on stage too. My guess is more controlled and refined from AGT but still all "Balls to the walls style". I don't think she's capable of holding back on a big stage. lol She's pure entertainment that's for sure. Her concert's are going to shock the music world when she get's out there.

Yep. That SPIN that she just HAD to do, no matter the small area substituting for a stage! And those pro musicians' covert grins and looks they shared behind her back. I'm pretty sure they were thinking something like "Oh, yeah, PLATINUM talent at work here in this young rockstar!"

Now see the other side of Courtney. “Sign of The Times”. Find on Vivo. Between Courtney, Aurora and Angelina the music industry is being changed.
