Each song she has been covering is so different then the last because she is showing us her flexibility and dynamic range. She is not a one trick pony. She has lots of surprises up her sleeve. You can tell how hard she has been working on her vocal craft. At 15 she can already out sing most full grown adults that have been in the industry for years. Look out for this young artist. She is not going to be your run of the mill pop singer. Courtney Hadwin is going to be a ROCK STAR!

OMG! When she did that first twirl in her audition AGT it was like she had almost too much spirit! That it was lifting not just her voice, but her eyes widened, her chin lifted, her jaw just melted in to all the necessary shapes, every space she filled, not just her lungs, she tanked up on that sweet oxygen and went around again. She is more than great, she is what they call 'honest' and what I like to call a generous performer - no half-measures - and utterly fearless in reaching for that quality that without it would not be a signature Courtney that we so love. Superb!

I heard this for the first time yesterday and, I hate to admit it, but I absolutely hated it. The song, not Courtney. After quite a few listens, it's growing on me but the song is kind of a downer. I much prefer her upbeat songs. Your point about Courtney's unique sound is spot on. Here's what she said in the metro interview: ‘You hear music now on the radio and so much of it sounds the same. I want to stand out and be different. Lots of respect for all artists, but I don’t want to be the next pop princess. "

It’s nice to see a softer side to her voice. For me I can’t stand all the screaming she does in most of her videos. I understand her idol is Janis Joplin but she is no Janis Joplin...
