You're absolutely correct. Having grown up during the 'Nam era of music, today's music is extremely juvenile. Some instances sound as if I accidentally stepped on my cat's tail. Her voice is smoky, with the capability to sing at different levels. Am I listening to the same young lady? Her uniqueness surpasses all.

This girls got it all! Haven’t seen anything like it in about 30 years. Amazing performer! And that voice!!!!

The first time I heard Courtney coincidentally here on youtube, my mouth stayed open, and so it is this time. This girl is like a hurricane and I'm sure no one who's ever heard of Courtney Hadwin will forget her. I saw Tina Turner live in a concert in Hamburg 1986 and paid 100 DM at that time for it on the black market - for a Courtney concert today I would immediately put 100 € on the table ... without even thinking for a single moment.

I have never seen anyone so happy to be on stage and deliver the goods. She owns the stage. A true performer and a rock and roll star. I would buy her music but would also love to see her perform live.

She ENERGIZES me. I listen 2 her every day. What a talent. Love her.

Feeling down, consumed with depression, 54yrs OLD working woman, thinking about the bills, AND MY OWN daughters needs, AND I wanted some major distraction, AND i came across Courtney's first audition, howies wonderful comments, AND I knew for sure, I am redeemed through this brilliant singer!!! She rocked my heart and soul backed to reality!! Totally will use her as an inspiration for myself and my daughter. Thank you Courtney, YOUR SIMPLY AMAZING!!!

@Angela Lee Courtney has an outstanding stage presence. It reminds me so much of my other favorite singer with great stage presence, Tina Turner. Now I also love G.G. the great Dutch singer. I am sure both have been signed before the Final either directly by Simon or his many contacts in music.

You could see her in concert and account for all them famous spirits that are in her. She is awesome 👏

For being so young she is bringing back a trend that almost seem to have been forgotten she is already a legend within herself she goes from this little wilted flower into the most gorgeous rose. She also shows that a person that is quiet and shy can have so much talent bursting to come out It it wasn't for Simon and his different talent shows there would be a lot of talent gone unreconized.. It takes one man named Simon and one talented girl to make this show number one thank you

Every performance is a memorably occasion when Courtney uncorks the James Brown in her heart.

She reminds me of Prince in the sense that he was quiet and shy when being interviewed, then turned into this colossal performer on stage. Like Prince, Courtney pours herself into her performance for the audience. She's not singing just to sing, she sings because like Prince, she IS music. She is a musical genius! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

I love all of her performances but her original song is my very favorite.

Every time I hear her sing she gives me cold chills that is how good she is i just love her singing

DAMN girl, unbelievable, simply UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! Talk about great, she's it. It's like living thru the 60's and 70's all over again, except even better. Not just the singing, but the show she puts on. She could have been the star attraction at Woodstock. I've never paid to see a concert in my life, but I hope I live long enough to pay to see one of yours. Then I will know I have seen the best of the best. Keep bringing the great baby boomer music to the current generations.
