Courtney Hadwin Full Performance from Paris Hotel in Las Vegas 11/4/2018

Ойын-сауық

I’m sorry about the lighting!!! I don’t know why but they did the lights on her super bright that it was hard for me to correct it. Also you guys should know that this was her last show in Vegas. She was performing 2 times a day for 4 days straight, and she wasn’t feeling well, but I still think she did an amazing job!!! I really want her to release her original song!!! I think we all should tell her on her IG page and hopefully it will happen!!! Much love to Courtney!!! Follow me on Instagram @Smiller1263.

Actually she was still 14. Even more amazing. Should be finishing up her album of originals after a hard 4 years with label issues, who wanted to change her to pop. Imagine changing this young lady to pop, what was wrong with them. Now an independent she's doing things her way with the help of Kevin Bowe. Prodducer/co-song writer and known to have worked with many of the legends. Should be back on stage this year.

I love Courtney since the 1st time I saw and heard her singing "Hard to handle", it was amazing, since then I've followed her in every performance, the most I liked was "River deep, mountain high", she looked precious at the beginning, she didn't seem the teenager at that moment, she looked like a woman, and she did it fantastic; what I like the most of her is that she finishes every song with a smile, and when she does so, tears come to my eyes, she is like Debbie Gibson at her beginning, but Courtney has more energy in every song she performs. Her performing in Vegas was very hard for her, I hope she recovers of her illness and comes back to the stages. Love you, Courtney. We're waiting for you in Venezuela. God blesses you.

I know what you mean. I listen to her several times a day even when I go to sleep at night I listen to a few of her songs and then I turn my radio over to the softer songs to fall asleep. I'm so happy to see a young person like her kicking the songs out from the greats you mentioned above. love rock and roll and some soul songs too the kinds like she does. And her having an original now at age 14 is incredible. it sounds like some of those old songs! I'm disabled but I definitely will get a wheelchair and go to Courtney Hadwin's concert or show when she comes to our town. I'd love to take my daughter to see her so she could be introduced to other types of music as well n have fun! I'm so happy for her that everything worked out in spite of her not winning first place America's Got Talent or Champions. But no matter she's gone and is going to go far far far! I just hope and pray she stays humble. Talent she already has an extreme amount of and it's Unique original brilliant fun... it's her! Yep. I can't seem to go a day without her too and I'm 54. LOL

I was at Woodstock , Atlantic City rock festival & I was at Monterey rock and saw Janis Joplin., second time was at Atlantic City Rock Festival. Querky. Odd voice all over the place but such passion, energy and stage presence & lit that place up. Just like Courtney does. The buzz about Courtney is unreal. Good bad everyone talking about her. Once every 50-60 years you see what you do. Like a comet Courtney is. An event. You absolutely will not forget nor stop talking about here. No one in the history of AGT, and they have incredible acts, has lit up the internet like her. No one has more views. She is not of this era as Howie Mandel said. Courtney will become like the greats before her. R&R revival and she will be leading it.

@Howard Serkin; Obvious Courtney is an Unique, Amazing, Great Talent that greatly resembles that of Janis Joplin. Her original compositions show more of her talent than just replication of past songs, and express her abilities as a R&R revival singer. Seeing other videos of Courtney show her abilites, talents and range exceed this too! She is a Star! However, many seem to have forgotten [or unaware of] each Great singer of recent few years, and that especially of Jackie Evancho [2010 AGT (9 yrs. old @ beginning - 10 yrs. old in Finals) who then surpasses any singers of all ages on AGT from 2009-present, then and throughout her continuing carrier [18 now] (see Howie's comment then too, also other experts like David Foster and others). Jackie not only has greater range, ability, purity, exactness of tone, she is a super performer who has also released composed music in her mid-teens. Sincerely :-)

@@newtonfirefly3584 Although there are many singers, not only ones who sing opera but even some other pop singers in this year's competition, who may have technical skills that Courtney has not yet attained, I think it's about more than that when someone is performing something like Rock 'n' Soul. I'm usually a big-time singing snob, but I do like her voice. And I love what she's doing, I've been following her since she was in England, and I'm so glad she came to the United States. This is where she can get the real exposure, and she seems to have an American style to her performances. What I love is how everything is such a complete performance, it's as if the music moves her so much that she cannot keep still, and she'll do anything that doesn't rob her of breath for singing. With these types of performers, it's as if the music is moving through them and using their bodies to get itself out to us. There's just something interesting to it. I feel that Courtney offers something that most contestants do not, even if several of them have certain vocal techniques under their belt already, it's the style. I just can't get around that. I think it's just beautiful what she's doing. This kind of thing needs exposure. That's what America's Got Talent can give somebody. There are even reaction videos by British people who didn't know who she was until she auditioned for America's Got Talent, even though she was on a show in their very own country. And she's only going to get better from here.

Newton Firefly. I remember that episode and all of their faces dropping. ESP Howard Stern. An insane performance by Jackie who has gone on to stardom. But apples and oranges. Opera vs old rock and roll. Can’t compare like saying steak or chicken. I would never cross compare since u can’t. It’s preference. But u talk about stage presence. Electric performances. For get music style. Courtney is just more entertaining. But in the end it’s ways your flavor. Both awesome. Difference will only be known 20 years fr now. After that we can judge. But both are truly great at what they do. BTW if I have not seen but Jackie did a duet with Barbara Streisand and was amazing. Ck it out

I've watched several James Brown versions of Papa's Got a brand new Bag and found his performances vary a good deal. Early versions have more energetic dancing and energy. By the 1970's Brown was already in his 40's ( born 1933 ) . There is one video where he dances the whole time from the mid sixties and it looks to me like he is lip syncing. I liked Courtney's version better than any I found. As I understand it her opening is a voice version of an opening trumpet blast that Brown favored.

SHE maybe 14.BUT her voice is much older, she's the female version of Dr.jeckle and Mr.Hide. THAT original song just might be her first single. wonder next season will others come with this style, have you noticed how many people from outside of America pull out these old songs and make them seem like new original music I would be willing to bet that when she did to hard to handle most of the people didn't know who did that song just goes to show American music is every where can't say enough about this young lady, well Courtney H.don't grow up to fast keep fake friends away and God bless you and keep you safe on this journey sky's the limit, one last thing pay your taxes bye.

I'd love to see Courtney in concert - She's a real star in 2019 - & what a joy it is for her public to know where they were when they first saw her raw, pure, electric performance as the crowd exploded around her wonderfullness!!! Thank you Courtney, for being so humble & shy but so strong in your inner self to come into the light & let us see a true star in the making. AMEN & GOD BLESS YOU. Protect yourself from all the "yes people" around you from here on out, stay true to yourself, take vacations as "me time" so your light doesn't burn out too quickly & people offer you "something" to wake you up, give you energy, or help you get sleep. Other "great ones" have fallen into that trap & lost to us - learn from THEIR mistakes & break the cycle & show YOUR generation how it's done, Courtney!!! The WORLD is behind you & loves YOU for being that shy gal for this century. Peace Out.

Can't believe this little 14 year old girl is entertaining us adults like she is an adult. Her brand of music and singing is best presented exactly where she is, on stage and performing. I think she has carved a good niche for herself. Notice how most of the Indian and regular casinos host older music groups from the past that play their hits over and over again. Well Courtney is new but an old soul. Should she not make it in the fickle recording industry she will always have a place on stage giving performances. That will give her a longer career than then the teeny bopper hip hop recording industry ever will.

I like that , She is already a professional with a Professional's attitude and resolve , That's Showman Ship. I was disappointed in the AGT finals because this year to me it was more about a sad story than TALENT. But hey that's just me, Best of Luck Ms Courtney Hadwin from the bottom of my heart and my undying love for Rock n Roll Go Knock'Em Dead I look forward to buying your music

@TheDDRED; Agreed Courtney Hadwin is an Amazing, Wonderful, High Level performer with special presence and professionalism and at her age! Yes, the story behind is often a huge element and factor is AGT every year. (See Stephen Brundage's [Rubick Cube Magician AGT 2016] positive comments on Shim Lin, who says AGT look for a background story for each contestant to the public. However, specifically among the 2018 Finalists 'sob stories' were clearly not the factor! As great as Courtney is, Shim Lin's talent, presence, showmanship, creativity, efforts, precision, expertise is more than Courtney and most any singer. In this performance, her original composition shows more of her talent than she did on AGT! And especially her interaction with the crowd adds so much to her! :-)

As someone who's involved in music, I must say these performances on the 4th are the best of the Courtney Las Vegas shows; The band is more rocking.... the soundman is better.... AND AT THIS TIME,THE UNBELIEVABLE COURTNEY HAS "ADJUSTED" HER TRADEMARK "OVER THE TOPNESS" TO BE JUST SLIGHTLY LESS FEROCIOUS and is now incorporating REALLY CLEVER SINGING TECHNIQUES. THE RESULT WITH THE BAND "MEETING" HER LEVEL AND COURTZ RELAXING A BIT(CONCENTRATING ON NOT ONLY POWER BUT ALSO A NEW "FINESS")IS THAT COURTNEY IS NOT ONLY THE BEST ROCK N ROLL SINGER THIS CENTURY, BUT IS NOW ONE OF IT'S BEST "ALL AROUND " SINGERS. HER USUAL 200% IS NOW 300%. I AM SHOCKED AND IN TEARS OF JOY FOR OUR QUEEN

To those who may wonder what's happening in this video: she was ill. When lung capacity is reduced, that's what you get. The problem is best noticeable when she tries to sing Hard To Handle (third song in this video). That song has long phrases, which are to be sung in a single exhalation. Her lungs could not contain enough air on that day, so she gets out of breath by the end of those phrases. Must have been torture for her. Let's hope she recovers quickly!

  • @craigmalon8397

John Wensley-"that's what you get..." YEP. We get yet another great vocal delivery (and stage movement.) The "what I got" out of it was that it sounded like a seasoned above average rock vocal with the desired effect of gutteral and strain. I noticed that the amount of rasp that SHOULDA been there due to her first time exposure to dry Las Vegas air wasn't that severe at all. She is THAT good. The slight mellowing of her percussive style gave her a smooth "finish" to the voice of someone who is ALREADY an established professional. A TALENTED stylist. She knows every vocal trick in the book, and we are now able to hear some new techniques. The shows on the 4th are my favorite of Las Vegas, as she REALLY accomplishes being an all around singer along with being the GREATEST rock n roll singer/ performer in decades and decades. Courtney Hadwin IS the new Queen of Rock n roll
