The most personal, talented and beautiful song by her. Took me many times listening to this before I wasn't in tears. We are all breakable, letting every see it and expressing it makes us vunerable but honest.

It is noticeable that many have not followed her journey over the years. They still think they should see Courtney as she was when she was on AGT at age 13-14. You should probably listen to her second song release "That Girl Don't Live Here" and listen to the lyrics. ❤😊

Every few years, a voice comes into your life that you just can’t ignore. In the case of Courtney Hadwin, we were blessed on the stage of AGT. Here was this young, shy, little girl. Standing there, not knowing what to say or do. You could see her nerves grasping hold, shaking her to her core. After a few moments of q&a, and thinking this poor child is about to break, she steps back, assuming the position, she settles her chin into her chest and waits. The first note hits, then the second, a toe taps. Suddenly, as if under some sort of spell, her head starts to bounce. She’s feeling the beat. Channeling the spirts of artists long gone, Courtney explodes in a furry of song and dance. What is happening? Where did that sweet little British girl go? Standing before us, running back and forth on the stage, was an awakening. Out of nowhere, comes this sound that grabbed my soul and demanded my attention. Throwing me back in my chair, I screamed at my tv. “The future of rock is alive and well. This young lady is going to be a superstar, and I’m watching it happen!” It’s been a long road, mainly due to the pandemic and all the restrictions. But today has come. After a long wait, her first single has been released. And boy has the wait been worth it. That little girl is now a young woman. Her voice has grown with her. What a beautiful song. Today, I’ve done something I haven’t done in about 12 years. I purchased a song on iTunes. Yes, her song. I wish you, Courtney, a long and successful career. I can’t wait for your next release. And I genuinely hope that once you have enough songs available, you release a physical album. Vinyl would be preferred, since that’s the era your voice belongs in. However, a CD will suffice. Thank you for sharing your gift with us. Good luck in your future. Keep up the amazing work. You ROCK!!!

I literally have tears running down my face my mom passed in 2020 but she loved this girl on AGT she actually knew Janis Joplin and says she sounded more like her than even Melissa Etheridge which is how I found out about her and now this song I may be 55 but I lived that life in the video down to having to ride in the back because of the dog she would be so proud to see how far she's come and I am a true fan I will be sharing this with everybody every platform

Kat, I've only had goosebumps once working a show in Sarasota FL where a singer from NYC just belted it! Later to find out she is also a national session artist. Courney does the same to me. BTW, Condolences as I too lost my mother shortly after returning to SC. I feel you.
