The Senator could have said he didn’t think it was appropriate. What he actually said was meant to put the spotlight on himself in the eyes of the right wing. He did it to raise his status, nothing to do with kids being groomed. Also if he damaged Courtney’s brand that would be a bonus in the Senators eyes. The Senate leaders should insist the Senator stop bringing their House into disrepute.

This senator is the concerning aspect of this story, one because his views are just woeful, his Facebook page is full of views which frankly would be popular in the Trump sector of America, his men can’t get pregnant agenda is just a waste of taxpayers money. Secondly he has 84K followers, are we really in that place in Australia where as a society we start winding back the clock, accepting and promoting all the wrong and regretful aspects of our history? The Liberal party has obviously not taken note of the last election, it’s sad when politicians forget they have been elected to serve and represent all of their constituents. I am sorry Courtney has gone through this because of someone in power, spreading their divisive viewpoints by using others, no matter the emotional/life consequences.

Technically, this video was about defamatory accusations made against Courtney Act by Senator Antic. Senator Antic had already had his opportunity to state his case on the Australian people's dime. So, instead of talking about serious issues like the Murray-Darling literally drying up or re-orienting the Australian economy off of commodities, he thought the most important issue facing the Commonwealth was Courtney Act reading a children's book on television. Antic had already said his piece without Courtney present, so it was fair for Courtney to respond without Senator Antic present.

Why is a drag queen on Play School? This is honestly not appropriate for pre schoolers.
