@@ZacRadford I generally try to cut my in between shots with the longer club as I'm about 1/2 a club shorter with a cut. But I've gotten to where I cant hardly hit a cut anymore! I think it has to do with my lower body out racing my upper body on the downswing.

In terms of course management I struggle with when to go for the green on long par 4s or par 5s with my second shot. I'm pretty inconstant with my distances so I know I CAN make the shots, it just comes down to if I do or not. I should probably be laying up more frequently to avoid being in bunkers or hazards after my second shot.

Great job zac!!!! I’m 13 and on a golf team at my school. When I always hit chip shots or long shots to get on the green, I can never create backspin off the ball with my gap wedge or my p-wedge. I see the backspin you get off the ball and wonder how you do that. Would you be able to give me some tips on how to do that?
@ZacRadford
4 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much and hope you have a great season on your team! When I began to spin the ball that came when my swing speed began to increase. The conditions can play a huge factor as well. For example softer conditions it is much easier to have the ball spin than it would be in firm conditions!
