@EWatcher888 That's what i noticed. These boys look fantastic! Makes me think it might be a good idea to get your teen son involved in ballet...just like any other sport. Especially when you consider the prevalence of juvenile obesity.

well, there is foremost a lot of work, dedication and discipline. question is: how likely are injuries during training? there is certainly potential for injuries during actual ballet performances. but how often does it happen during training?

Why do you not like boys in ballet? Perhaps we could use this as a teaching moment. Do you understand ballet productions at all? In the most famous ballet (Swan Lake) a female swan falls in love with a prince. Who will play the prince if we don't have any men? Do you see what I'm getting at? I'm not sure what country you come from, but this sort of mindset has to change. We need to stop placing these useless labels on people. The fact that you don't like men in ballet showcases an extremely concerning lack of culture and history. Is it the way they move their arms? Their feet? Ballet is the epitome of grace. You certainly can't have them out their looking like NFL football players. The fact that you don't like men in ballet doesn't change the fact that they are men and boys. We shouldn't insinuate that they are less than because they are involved in a legitimate profession.

I think he does not like men, and boys in ballet because he finds the male body in ballet tights to be offensive because of the revealing nature of the tights on a male form. I can't imagine how vigorously these brave young men work each day to perfect their moves and bodies, my hats off to each of them. One of the most enjoyable evenings out is when you get dressed for dinner and actually can see a performance of swan lake.
