The Courante (second movement) from Bach's Partita in A minor for flute.
There are two sections to this video:
1. A performance of the movement.
2. Play-by-play, where I explain what I am thinking and doing as the piece goes by.
Here are the musical characteristics I like to bring out in this movement:
-Lines (stepwise motions in the "bass")
-Harmonic changes
-Contrast between repetitions
-Meter "change"
