I am a chef. I have used both. The Pizzazz allows food to breath while cooking. More natural result. The other steams/fries everything. Better texture and more versatility with Pizzazz. Better for everything. Not as fast, but the microwave oven is faster. I hate microwave ovens for cooking. Maybe vegetables, but still rubber! Microwave ovens should never be used. Courant sucks, not an oven.

Nonsense. I've used both, and the Presto is clearly superior. Nothing beats being able to see the pizza baking right in front of you. You can watch the cheese and toppings cooking to perfection. You can add toppings, while the pizza bakes. Once you get the hang of the Lower/Both/Upper heating elements control, you'll find that comes in very handy in many situations. Example: BOTH for 10 minutes on a frozen raising crust, then 15 mins. UPPER only, to finish it. You can have a softer crust, with a well-done top. Regular oven, you'll have a hard, crunchy crust. If not burned... And clean-up? Just toss the rotating disk into the dish-washer. It's non-stick, so it's easy to hand wash, like a big plate. It's also a well-made, high quality oven. I've been using mine for almost 20 years, and it still works flawlessly. I know Presto products sometimes have a sketchy reputation, but this one really is a winner, and does its job exceedingly well.

You forgot the “making pizza and tasting” test
totally NOT worth the $$$$$$, 16+ minutes to make a simple cheese thin crust pizza and still the cheese was not totally melted. WOULD NOT use raw ingredients- gave it to a friend- he had more time than me . Got it on Amazon on sale,...., so I'm not poor from the lesson learned. Little Ceasar $6 large peperoni still wins! Fish stick were a bust as well as a simple grilled cheese! save your money. Would be great IF the elements covered the entire cooking surface and not rotate. The bottom cooking idea would then be great as it would enable you to cook the crust a bit longer if needed.
