That's amazing! I am thinking of trying a regular practice where I take inspiration from different daily readers or cards or something! Let me know if that would be fun for you
I love these longer process videos… please keep them coming! I’ve missed you! ❤

Oh Charlene, sending hugs to you! What a wonderful choice you made to take time to do something that feeds your soul - enjoy the healing powers of crafting!
I love how your experimentation really WORKS! I have seen many people use tweezers for stickers but I am still old school about it too. haha.

Thank you! Cheers! I thought the experimentation looked awful, but so happy with the results. And yes, I will have to do tweezers now too!
Hi Amy! What a joy! I watched it several times and took notes. Just ordered your Altenew stamps and can’t wait to play. I haven’t read Courage to Change but I just ordered a used copy. I’ve been to other recovery meetings and found them very helpful for trauma and divorce. You are a beautiful soul! Thank you for sharing your gift!

Oh my heart! Being in recovery is something I never knew I would be so grateful for. Though I don't read it every single day, I have found Courage to Change to really resonate with something. XOXO
Amy, LOVE what you said about getting out of our own way -- ain't it the truth?! I have to say, too, I absolutely LOVED the pages before you put any of the embellishments on it, when it was just the inks and oxides and the stamp and the strip you used for a stencil (just saw one of your subscribers said it's called "punchinella" -- love it)!

That is so nice of you to say! It's funny how our messes can turn into masterpieces or at least better than we first envisioned. Hope you're getting your creative juices flowing! And yes, now hopefully I will remember punchinella :)
I love it. I love it. I love it!!!! Thanks Amy!

Hi Amy, I just saw that Craftelier has sticky pads specifically for placing individual stickers that are hard to peel ! So it holds sthe sticker down and you can use a tweezers to peel off the sticker layer. Also I just wanted to mention that the reason I used a tweezer with stickers, is only for the placement of them on the page. So if I use my fingers to place the stickers, my hand and fingers block a lot of what is in the surrounding area. However, when I use my tweezers, I can still get good visibility on where the sticker is going and make sure it is in the place where I want it to go. So the tweezers are so narrow compared to my hand.

AHHH! This is SO helpful. I need to grab my tweezers and try again!
So nice to see you again. Thanks for your inspiration to use what we have and to just get messy.

Thanks for watching!!
I am not normally drawn to what I call messy mixed media spreads. But I kept watching your process and to my surprise found myself resonating with your dialogue on the creative process. It really inspired me. I tend to like matchy matchy structured art with a cohesive theme and for it to serve some purpose (like making a card, or a journal or mini-album) and for the execution to be perfect. However in watching you experiment without reading instructions was so refreshing. For example, I love Lunar Pastes. I think they are some of the best on the market, and I never thought to use them with a paint brush like you did! LOL. Watching you build this spread was so relaxing. I just loved watching you create it and share your insights and seeing how you use all the elements of paper, ink, paint, stencils…. I have been pushing myself to be more spontaneous with my crafting and start an art journal just for the joy of using all the supplies I buy and love. Thank you for providing that kindling to my creative flame! (I think I found the theme for the start of my art journal process: “my creative flame!” 😀😍. ) You are a joy!

YOU ARE A JOY! Thank you so much for taking the time to be so thoughtful and kind. I love that you feel inspires to be more spontaneous with your crafting and to put your supplies to joyful use. BIG HUGS TO YOU
the stripe, you are paining over, is the imperfection you need to embrace, like youre telling in the other video 😁

I have a lot of Disney Princess stickers from The Happy Planner and I don't know how to use them up. I love the classic Disney, but the princesses don't fit me. I'm more i to cutesy stickers. When I used the princess stickers, I felt out of place, if that makes sense. I don't want to be wasteful but it's not fun using stickers that don't fit me. What can I do?

I feel you fully! Hmmm... my first thought is that there are probably plenty of people in the community who would love to swap or trade with you! This is why I love in real life events where we can connect with people in person and maybe have a destash area or something like that. Does that feel like a good start to you?

@@amytangerine That would sound nice but my neighborhood is not safe. But after some thought, I decided to use them up in my diary. When I use up something, it gives me a feeling of satisfaction to have used it up plus, turns out the stickers are not so bad. I wonder why I thought that at first? 🤔💖 I wonder if I was comparing my stickers to someone elses?? I had searched for stickers on Etsy but they are expensive.
