​@@maximoesco could be that one of the chemicals made him get INTO hair, and base from what you said, he doesn't have to be INTO hair, and just thinks he's doing good things, he couldn't properly think because he was probably traumatized, and it would be funny and logical if the reason why there's an entire institute was a thing because euctice mom had a lot of money to hire good lawyer to prevent law suits so everyone who has hair problems just had to shut up or something???

I love the irony that the creepiest episode has one of the most harmless antagonist. Fred overall was just a nephew of Muriel who came for hollyday and was a well manered guest. I even believe that Eustace was the villain in this episode for locking Courage with Fred, it was because of it that Fred's mental condition started worsening. And when he is sent back to the asylum my boy just accepts it and doesn't try to run or anything. Fred was a good person at heart and being and adult you see how tragic his character really is.

Fred always gave me weird vibes of someone who definitely should be locked up indefinitely. He is harmless in nature in comparison to the other villains of Courage but the dude has some.. fetish-y taboo thing going on with him. I remember Fred was the only cartoon character that scared me as a kid.

I had a theory about why Fred says naughty, (it could be wrong) I feel like he calls himself naughty because he knows what he is doing but can't help it because it could be an impulse and when he calls other people naughty it might be referring to them "tempting" him to the point he can't control his impulse and shaves them This is just a theory

With you pulling up the fact of there actually being a hair fettuce, i didn't even know there was a thing and i was thinking before you pulled it up on screen that considering that fred was a barber, maybe he had a weird fettuce for hair.

He is just strange and with a mental condition. He seems to be a good person who visits his aunt and has a regresion when locked with Courage, if that wasn't the case I'm sure he wouldn't have cut Courage's hair.
