I'm sorry you lost your husband to COVID. I lost a beloved aunt to COVID who had been a special and important things part of my life for all of my 69 years. I had been painting only a year and a half at the time f her passing at the end of 2020 but I found in it a kind of solace, a way to release my pain. It's been a therapeutic escape for me. Best of luck to you as you begin this new endeavor.

Beautiful painting and yet again the Payne's grey background sets it off to a tee... the variegated colours of the umbrella make a nice change from the plain red that is usually used... :)... lovely.

i did this one 2 days ago, turned out pretty good. My trees werent as nice as yours and i failed miserably on the umbrella but im still pretty happy with it. Love your paintings, simple but elegant

Same here - about a year ago. Went perfect until I got to the umbrella. Nothing I could do to fix it.

I seen this last year but watching it again it has a whole new energy. Magnificence.

Beautiful. Fun to watch the process. Part of the skill is to know when not to stop. At 15:41 I would have stopped and not moved on with updating the couple. The master doesn't stop and the result is evident at 18:25. Masterful!

you don't focus that much on details, and yet your work explodes with a lot of realism with those light and shadows somewhat made it outstanding and beautiful. needless to say the soothing music as a bonus. love it!

I'm going to do this one too, I did the leaf and it turned out really well.

Your work is absolutely amazing. They're all so beautiful. My partner and I wanted to paint something together. Its his first time painting and he doesn't feel confident at all. Your work is soooo amazing! This one is awesome~~~only love can keep you warm!! I am 66 years old and one thing I regret is not going to Art School, or kept it up. I started with oils, painting scenery, then stopped for years while raising three sons! Then just about a year ago, I started using acrylics and I love painting abstracts. Student grade paints sucks, but, they are more affordable. I wished I can make the colors nicer! Thank you for sharing with us all~~you are a great inspiration to many!! Warm greetings from Canada!!

Your not dead ,I'm 64 I'm enrolling in another class as soon as I'm able there are on line classes here you need to explore, I joined a art group we paint and sell our art ,we have an exhibition on at the moment now Covid restrictions have relaxed here in the UK, Go for it never give up x ☺ 🇬🇧

Omg what a wonderful painting I enjoyed every second watching and wondering what was next I could only wish to be so talented, but you know what I'm gonna have a go and even if I get it wrong I will have tried I love you and your work and music choices

I am a visual person and I realized that I enjoy the process at least as much as contemplating the outcome, even more. It's somehow cathartic to my surprise.

I work straight nights and normally I can do them and go home in the morning with tons of energy still. This week though, I've been exhausted come 4-5am and I had no idea why... until I thought about it. I've been watching these painting videos all week and I think the music in these videos have relaxed me SO much that its made me tired 😂 You've also made me want to paint again, so thank you for that too 🎨
