Since I heard ROSÉ for the first time I fell in love with her voice and that is why she is my favorite😎👌 they even call ROSÉ the golden voice of Korea and she is the kpop idol with the most viewed covers in the world, she has many covers and 3 own songs, but it would be excellent if you first saw the group songs and then the individual songs to go deeper.

It's interesting that you mention Rosé's voice. I also found it captivating and described it as touching my soul/spirit. But not everyone feels the same. I realised it is subjective, but for Coach and myself, Rosé's vocal tone is extraordinary in how it resonates with us.

If you are going to react in chronological order, also react to the B-SIDES, if you do not have a music video you can look for a COLOR CODED LYRICS version that shows subtitles and who is singing. Remember that all the music videos are on the group's official channel so that they are not confused with fan mades, the apses without mv can be seen on unofficial channels so that they can see their translation.

Birth order and age is important in Asian societies, especially in Korea where there is even a different set of words used only to your elders. Jisoo is the youngest in her family and was treated very well by her parents. Her father even let her skip school when she didn't feel like going. When Rose sings it sounds like two or three singers singing at once to me.

All 4 members are Global Ambassadors for top fashion brands and are currently in Paris France for fashion week events. Jisoo took over the show at the Christian Dior event yesterday. As did Rosie at the YSL and Tiffany events. Jennie just arrived today and has Calvin Klein and Coco Chanel sponsorship and a few others. And Lisa is known as Queen of Celine fashion brand as well as others.

@@CoachCastTV Since she likes Jisoo have Mrs Coach Google / BlackPink Jisoo at Dior Paris fashion week. Coach can Google / BlackPink Rose at Saint Laurent Paris fashion week. Jisoo was absolutely gorgeous but Rosie is my personal bias.

I think a lot of people overreact to Jisoo's comment about being called ugly when she was little. For context, she is the youngest child and has an older brother and sister who are both very good looking as well. (Her sister is a part time model) It makes a lot of sense that her older siblings would tease her and pick on her as a child. I think her comment in the documentary was meant to be a funny story and not to be taken overly seriously.

I didn't take it that she was being funny. In the documentary she didn't specify that her siblings called her ugly, although she said "My relatives treated me like an outcast because I was ugly, they called me a monkey." That could be anybody, but she remembered it, which shows that it means something to her. FYI Jisoo also cried on a V-Live because her parents threw away all of their old photo albums without telling her, she said "There are no more memories of me."

I’m your age, and I love BP, too. My nieces got me into them, and I really didn’t expect to be into a modern popular group at my age, it’s usually like progressive rock from Europe in the 70s. But now I’m a Blink 🤷‍♀️🥰

Speaking form personal experience, The Jisoo - family issue is "teasing" in the Korean culture. When my Uncle first moved to the U.S. he called me "Dog" in public until I talked to him and he stopped. Just to be clear he's an amazing guy. PLEASE PLEASE keep the BP reactions coming. Playing With Fire. I've only been a BLINK for about 2 years now, but this one holds true. Songs move in and out of top 5 for me, and my fav is usually the BP song I just heard, but this M/V is always up there. If you go according to their discography the next song is 'Stay' which is a great song. If you want to go rogue I would suggest one of their English song 'The Happiest Girl' which showcases their vocal ability. It does not has a music video but has a color coded video instead. The 3rd song should be a Miguel cover song called Sure Thing. The girls performed it live after they had debuted with Whistle and Boombayah and was asked to attend a live concert and was asked if they had any other songs so they did Sure Thing, a cover song that the girls had put together for their monthly training evaluation prior to selection for predebut. Jennie and Lisa wrote in the rap verses for the Miguel cover song.

LoL y'all crack me up. I'm 41 now and have been into KPop since 2019. I'm the one who got my daughter, now 13, into it. I even took her to her first KPop concert, Pixy, earlier this year. So much fun. Remember Blackpink uses no greenscreen or CGI. So all of that fire, even surrounding Lisa, is real. The girls all know 3 - 5 languages each. Languages is part of their training. Their most popular mv is Ddu-Ddu-du with over 2 BILLION views.

@@CoachCastTV I have suggestions for how/ why people would not be fans. #1 would be JEALOUSY, straight-up. #2 would be RACISM. There are lots of racists in Korea who hate Lisa because she is not Korean at all, she's from Thailand; she was YG's very first foreign Idol. NO other reason given for hating her, just that she's a foreigner. She got SO much hatred online that it went VIRAL! Thousands of haters came out of the woodwork (or maybe it was just a few hundred haters with multiple hate accounts). The response against such hatred also went viral. In 2017, a HUGE infamous world-wide hashtag went viral, #RespectLisa. It's still searchable, I bet. If you remember seeing it, now you know exactly who that was about. ACTUAL fans love all four of the members. There are those who 'claim' to be fans but hate one member or another (yes, even Rose' has haters...). Those haters are NOT 'BLINKS' like the rest of us; they are called 'BLONKS'; they may as well be block-heads but they want to think they are BLINKS.

Speaking of Jisoo's looks... She is called 'the Visual' of the group (and I don't really think that should be an official position of any group, ever. It's a genetic trait and not something the person WORKED for or EARNED. That's really not fair to compare looks from one person to the next when the music is what matters. You can have music without having music videos. But of course the Dance aspect matters as well, so video is important. But looks?). There is a compilation video somewhere on YT that shows other K-Pop Idols and Solists meeting Jisoo for the first time, and ALL of them are just captivated (many of them having an instant crush on her understandably). Guys, Girls, doesn't matter; she's GORGEOUS to EVERYBODY. There is also another video about fans, just average non-famous people, meeting her; one guy said he was actually breathless...she took his breath away without actually having done anything but smile at him. And then of course we also know that she is down-to-earth, very pleasant and kind. She really has it all. I would also like to point out that there are other adults who are just STUNNING to look at, but who were called ugly while they were kids; two such people who come to mind are 1) actor Julia Roberts (people thought her mouth was just too wide, etc, but just LOOK AT HER CAREER!) and 2) diva singer Mariah Carey.

@@CoachCastTV Absolutely, they are all stunningly gorgeous! There are so many gorgeous Idols and Soloists in Korea and from other countries. Besides Lisa, there are other Idols from Thailand. There are some from China, some from Taiwan, some from Singapore. There is even an entire girl group that is full of Non-Koreans! The members of that group are from India, Senegal, Brazil and the United States! That group gets a lot of undeserved hate, too. The Korean entertainment industry is really wild, it's EVEN WORSE than our Hollywood in some ways. The looks come first and THEN the talent is dissected. You would be hard-pressed to find any Actor, Soloist, Rapper or Idol who we in the West would think of as 'merely average', even if they were supremely gifted in some way like acting abilities, singing, rapping or dancing... There's a specific girl group who are known as The Vocal Queens of K-Pop. Their boss was repeatedly told by others in the industry that the group would never get anywhere. They are not considered good-looking by the stupid 'Korean Beauty Standard' (but from over here, I think of all of them as 'Exotic Beauties'). They are all GORGEOUS from my perspective but they got a lot of hate early on because Koreans don't see them as 'beautiful'. It's REALLY WEIRD and it just shows how very narrow and impossible the Korean Beauty Standard is! There really is nothing 'standard' at all about the Korean Beauty Standard. It rules out at least 90% of their own population, telling them they are 'not pretty enough'. How is that 'STANDARD' at all? That 'Standard' of theirs drives people to harm themselves and commit the unthinkable... So the 'KBS' is really just B.S. I personally think the KBS was thought up by wealthy crusty wrinkled old businessmen and they used their personal fetishes to define what 'beauty' means. Unfortunately, 'Money Talks', so everybody else has been commercially manipulated, hypnotized, suckered and bullied into that way of thinking.

Yes, we plan on doing them all. We're editing right now another we filmed last night. Coach went a little rogue and picked "Ice Cream" with Selena Gomez. It's a great video. Thanks...Jinjer is on the list to do at least one more. We cannot leave it like that. LOL

I'd say that you should go "rogue", don't go in in order of release. Most people check out their music by popularity, I would personally recommend PINK VENOM, their most recent hit. SHUT DOWN is also good, although the visuals are mainly callbacks to older music videos but it's not imperative to have seen them first. After PINK VENOM check out HOW YOU LIKE THAT, KILL THIS LOVE and LOVESICK GIRLS.

@@CoachCastTV I was going to wait until the first 4 were seen by you. You should know going into this that there are often many hidden meanings in BP songs. The MV Shutdown has a couple dozen of them in it that are Easter egg call backs to their first 4 songs. Shutdown came in 2022 after a 2 year hiatus of no new music. Its intent was to shutdown the haters and remind them of earlier great successes. Stay is another one with deep meanings for Jennie I will tell you about later
