If you get the chance, attend a Lindsey Stirling concert. She is amazing live. This song in particular, she was hanging upside down in a trapeze ring, playing her violin. We were blown away.

Lizzy Hale is one of the absolute best rock vocalist ever... she can belt it.

@@Beantowndude Amy is very good but I like the fact that Lizzy can put the grit and rasp on it too. Amy is also very good though. I live where Evanescence started and saw the earliest versions of that band in the local scene.

So Glad you two are doing this reaction thank you!! Lindsey is incredible violinist, her collaboration with Pentatonix is also really good. RADIOACTIVE Lindsey basically started her own genre when everyone told her she couldn't. Violin dubstep. Love you guys, it was a song she wrote about her struggle with her eating disorder. I am so happy thay Lindsey is finally getting recognized. She is such a great violinist that has been putting out great music for years. Lizzy is a fantastic vocalist with great talent for hitting those clear high notes. What an amazing song by the 2 of them.

Y’all need to check out Halestorm! That is the band that Lzzy Hale is in, the best female rock singer in my opinion! Here are some of my personal favorite songs “Bad Girls World” “Dear Daughter” “I am the fire” “I Miss The Misery” “Apocalyptic” “Chemicals” “Do Not Disturb”(y’all would enjoy this one) I could close my eyes and shuffle any of their songs and I’d land on a great one every time!

Lizzy Hale has one powerful voice. I saw here years ago and she sounds as good now as she did then. Lindsey Sterling is amazing to watch. She also does a couple of songs with Pentatonix. You guys should check them out.

Try to get the video of lindsey in the Ice caverns, it's breathtaking, seeing and hearing is believing, it'a all dance and violin in an incredible location.

Just to clarify, if someone else han't said it, Lindsey Stirling is the dancing violinist. She wrote the song about her struggle when she was younger with anorexia, and breaking free from it. She often brings in vocalists to complement her. Lzzy hale is the lead vocalist for Haestorm. Check both out.

Another great one is Lindseys - String Sessions with Amy Lee doing Wasted On You. It's just Lindsey on the violin and Amy singing with the piano. Unbelievable!!!

Two exceptional artists. Lzzy is imo the best rock vocalist of the present. Lindsey is just so creative with multiple talents.

This is classical meets rock that has been dubstepped...it's freakin brilliant! Most lindsay sterling is on every Playlist i have, heard this song about a million times and it still gives me goosebumps multiple times throughout the song.

Lzzy Hale is a Goddess and is a rabbit hole deep dive all her own. the songs she can cover vocally is just insane.

I absolutely love this song/video. It’s my favorite of Lindsey’s. I certainly love and appreciate the message, for one because it applies perfectly to the way my life has been going for a few years. However, I do hope y’all appreciate the story in the literal sense too. I think of it as sort of a Pinocchio story. The ballerina starts as a simple automaton that knows nothing beyond the snow globe, but then a conscious mind emerges and begins to wonder and think, and desperately wants to know what is beyond. I think Lindsey communicated a lot about the ballerina through actions and expressions.

I definitely recommend more halestorm, seen then a few times and lzzy really brings the vocals. Lindsey stirling is very talented and theatrical, I like her artemis album. Both have collabed with Amy Lee who is also another amazing singer.

I LOVE Lindsey Stirling. She is INSANE

As others have said on here already Lindsey in the violinist. She began her as a dancing dubstep violinist who posted covers of all different types of music from rock, to movies, opera, holiday, and video games. I've followed her side about 2012 and have seen her multiple times live. She was also my first concert after live performances were allowed again. She does a Christmas live set every year two, which I've seen 2 or 3 times. It's awesome. She's one of my favorite artists and love her entire catalog of songs, whether covers or off of her different albums. She also has a comic book series telling the story of her recent album Artemis. Shatter Me was the first song Lindsey had written lyrics for, and she had typically used guest vocalists for most of her songs, only singing on a few songs herself. This song was originally written with the intention or hope of Amy Lee from Evanescence singing but that did not work out. Evanescence was one of Lindsey's favorite and is actual my favorite band. Lzzy Hale from Halestorm did the vocals here and did them well. I personally love Halestorm also and think this is a great combination. A few years ago, I got to see Lindsey and Evanescence co-headline their tour. During the show, the each respectively came onto each other's set and played a few songs together, one of which was Shatter Me, and it was awesome. Two of my favorites performing an awesome song together. They also have been featured on each other's recent albums. Great video with great musicians with a great message about breaking free from the shell you put yourself in and finding out who you are inside and accepting that.

LIndsey Stirling is amazing. She has a very long list of covers and original songs. I saw her live about 5 years ago. I have never seen a person dance for 3 hours and play a violin without a break. Now this was in the middle of July in South Florida where it was in the 90's and like 100% humidity. This girl was amazing.

I am glad you enjoyed the video, I have seen Lindsey Stirling twice in concert. She is amazing and the cinematography is amazing in all of her videos past and present! However, I will tell you the production of her vidoes when DevinSuperTramp produced them vs now have definitely two different styles but all amazing! My favorite Lindsey Stirling song is probably Crystallize or Roundtabe Rival!

We thought we had them figured out, and still got them mixed up.... Still was a great GREAT song and video!

Lindsey stirling puts on a great live show. The way she dances around stage and still plays the violin hitting all the notes is just amazing. The way she interacts with the audience is so also so incredible.

If you like the sound of violin with rock, you should check out Imminence. They are an AMAZING metal band where the lead singer also plays violin. You will not be disappointed. Their videos also have great production quality.

Halestorm is Lzzy’s band right from my home area. Been following her career forever. One of the best female (or male) vocalists ever. 2 great female performers right here together.

I believe i‘ve heard that Lindsey originally wanted Amy Lee from Evanescence to sing on this song. I feel like we got lucky with Lzzy though - her distortion adds a rawness to the chorus that gives me chills every time.
