He can do anything but he doesnt trust himself that. The outcome of his entire album makes you wish there’s more album for him that he creatively makes.

Also Jimin is First and Only soloist (male and female) surpass 1 Million first day sales for an album and it still counting! He is a legend. Already #1 in ITunes worldwide and more than 100 countries! And he is fastest idol reaching #1 in ITunes Worldwide in history (it joins to his other songs “With you” and “Set me free pt.2”). This man is unstoppable 👑

Jimin said that the tracks/album was retrospective of his feelings/emotions during the pandemic which he has overcome. His album essentially tells a story. Like crazy depicts a dream he doesnt want to wake up from to go back to reality. Followed by Alone, then Set me free, essentially set free from those struggles he had experienced

In the beginning it says: “I think we can last forever” “I’m afraid everything is going to disappear” “Just trust me” At the end: “I’m alone again. What’s the point”

This entire performance is hypnotic as well as mesmerizing. The creativity and quality of this video is nothing leass than WORLD CLASS. It quite easily surpasses ANY video that I have seen. It is not easy to pull off a video that is this thought provoking and at the same time... entertaining. This is a true form of ART. It is a collage of sights and sounds that leave me feeling ethereal and "floating". How many songs can do that ?

If you want to know the story behind this you need to go through the whole album cause the song line up saying how he felt when covid 19 happened. i know you mean well but when you say this, you are denying that men can be feminine. you are saying that his features and behaviour don't match what being a man is to you and thus he represents androgyny. you are creating transphobic boxes to place him outside your binary. his gender and identity are not something for you to co-opt and reframe. this album is about accepting himself as a man who constantly talks about his body, dieting, and claiming he isn't manly enough. he is still dieting despite saying he has accepted himself, being hypocritical of his muscles, denying himself food despite being hungry. so to view him through your lens of gender binary denies his reality and means you don't understand how his visuals and behaviour are not "gender" but contentious and a point of shame in a heteronormative, misogynist post-korean war culture.

The album is about his feelings of depression and lost during the pandemic. This song is about escaping reality and dealing with ones wounds. It is amazing the album appears to be about one thing but is not , as bts have done the songs all have deeper meanings. Jimins favorite movei is Like Crazy the voices are from the movie.

This means that Jimin is referring to himself as 'she'. The girl in the MV is his reflection, his feminine side. This song is about him exploring his feminine side. Also, the guy on Jimin's pants is a queer photographer whos works include gay BDSM imageries. Also, I dont know if u noticed but there is a shot of wlw couple in the mv as well. Then look up his artwork and compare it with JIMIN´s photopholio....I think some people are having a very hard time as of right now, accepting some things that Jimim is trying to comunicate to us. These things kind of clash with their Image they had of Jimin and some are taking it very badly and lashing out ...some threads on twitter has been a cesspool... those who know, know. As others have said, this song is about escapism, losing yourself in alcohol and partying, so that you don´t have to face the reality...how glad am I that by the end of the album, in Set me free pt.2. Something I picked up right away is that the woman who is highlighted & faces Jimin in the crowd right before he talks about his “reflection” is literally his mirror. In the full choreography during this part, he’s dancing with a female dancer. The album is called FACE for a reason, he’s facing himself, and embracing the feminine parts of himself in order to be whole. Oh, and speaking of that part in the bathroom-Jimin’s leather pants have Robert Mapplethorpe & his partner on them. He was an openly queer photographer who is mainly known for his photoshoots about BDSM, but also played with gender in his work !! This means so much to me as a queer person tbh.
