you should check out "Rumor" in produce 48 as well, the program these girls were chosen from to become a group. Eunbi is amazing. She was known as the mommy bunny and Wonyoung the baby bunny, them being almost 10 years apart.

Kess: WHO IS THAT? Me: Girl, just one of the best leaders Kpop has ever seen, the queen KWON EUNBI herself! She raised those 11 girls like her own. I have so much respect for her. Chaewon and Yujin both go to her now for advice since they are leaders and can understand and appreciate everything that Eunbi did for them in IZ*ONE, their role model. Apart from her astounding leadership skills, she is incredibly talented in singing/dancing + an awesome song-writer and producer. She is a soloist now and you will not regret checking out her music, its amazing. I've been a huge IZ*ONE fan since the very first episode of Produce 48. Cried like a baby when they disbanded, and still miss them to this day. Although I am very happy to see them all succeeding. The IZ*ONE discography is one of the best in Kpop, the quality is amazing. I recommend the BLOOM*IZ and One-reeler albums.

Once you dive into IZONE you'll find yourselves diving into almost, if not, every member's current status. You'll be stanning not just the new groups formed (which you already obviously do) but also the girls who started their solo careers. And there's a ton of stuff to dive into. That's how my KPOP journey started but from way further back to the first project girl group of the PRODUCE series. I kept diving and diving until I reached all the way to the 2nd GEN groups. So now I'm an addict that doesn't need any rehab.

Um...no, not quite. IZ*ONE debuted in November of 2018 (and what a MARVELOUS debut this was! No denying that at all!). (G)I-DLE debuted in May of 2018, six months earlier. Sorry to burst your bubble.

early period izone was all about flower concept, very different from what ive, lesserafim and all the soloists are doing rn. Also, izone was known for the most synchronized girl group at the time (if I remembered correctly) and beautiful visualization of their group choreo, so definitely checkout dance practices.

One of songs which I love is Fiesta. That Japanese ver was translated by Sakura and I was very beautiful written!! It was just amazing. When K pop artist release their songs in Japanese, it sounds like literal translation and sounds always weird 😅 I still appreciate it that they release in Japanes for Japanese fans though. I love everything izone did, i swear they were in the front of 4gen that's why I'm not even surprised that now their members are so successful even after izone disbanded. They are the most prolific produce group created when considering every member. I also love to see them reunite in yt videos, shows, awards and social media. They are always showing how close they are and mentioning each other. Truly a great group to learn about even if they are not around together anymore. There's a lot of content about them to watch. My bias was Eunbi, love her solo stuff as well.

IZ*ONE's last title song 'Panorama' This song is a really well made masterpiece. The lyrics and performance are also special. Composing and producing are really genius. Even the composer himself who made this song has yet to make a song that goes beyond 'Panorama'. A song with this kind of vibe and style hasn't come out since then.

I was an Izone casual listener and now a solid Fearnot(Lesserafim). I think one of the reasons why some of the former iz members are doing good now is because they had the amazing experience to be in Iz'one, despite the negativity and controversy that surrounded the survival show. It seemed like their chemistry was good. Iz'one is now gone but will never be forgotten.

IZ*ONE was a project group from Produce 48, a mix with korean trainees and 48 Group members. They debuted in october 2018 and disbanded on april 2021. They even where in discussions for a longer activity. The members that you already know are : -Sakura debuted in 2011 in HKT48 and was a top member even in AKB48. After IZ*ONE disbanded, Sakura graduated and returned to Korea to debut again. She debuted in 2022 in LE SSERAFIM. -Chaewon was a trainee in Woollim having a 'cute and pure' image. After the disbandment she signed with Source Music and debuted in LE SSERAFIM as the leader. -Wonyoung and Yujin were trainees from Starship. Debuting with 14 and 15 years old, they were the maknaes of IZ*ONE. After de disbandment they debuted in 2021 in IVE, with Yujin as the leader. -Chaeyeon was a participant in SIXTEEN (the show that created TWICE) and was eliminated, left JYP and signed with WM. After IZ*ONE she participated in Street Women Fighter and was the last one to debut as a soloist in 2022. The other members are : -Eunbi debuted in 2014 in Ye-A but the group disbanded. After IZ*ONE she debuted as a soloist on august 2021. -Hyewon and Minju are focusing in their acting carrer. They didn't have a hard training in singing nor dancing before. -Yena debuted in january 2022 and was focusing on shows before de debut. -Yuri was a concursant in Idol School (the show that created fromis_9) but was eliminated. After the disbandment she debuted on october 2021. -Nako and Hitomi returned with their japanese groups (HKT48 and AKB48) and they've been the centers for numerous singles. Nako graduated from HKT48 in april 2023.

I would recommend watching the entire Produce 48 show if you get the chance. The editing was sometimes a bit iffy (like AleXa got hardly any screentime), and there was a vote manipulation scandal involving the show, but it doesn't take away anything from these girls' talents. It was great to see "behind the scenes" so to speak - all the blood, sweat and tears these girls put into their craft is nothing short of inspiring. Personally I'm rooting for more than half of the participants of the show, not just the members who ended up in the final lineup. IZ*ONE ended up splitting into multiple groups and solo artists like Kwon Eunbi (solo), Jo Yuri (solo), Choi Yena (solo), Lee Chaeyeon (solo), Le Sserafim (Miyawaki Sakura and Kim Chaewon from IZ*ONE and Huh Yunjin, PD48 participant) and IVE (An Yujin and Jang Wonyoung). Other participants are in groups like BugAboo (Kim Choyeon, Son Eunchae), Purple Kiss (Na Goeun, Park Jieun), Rocket Punch (Juri Takahashi, Kim Suyun, Kim Sohee), Everglow (Kim Sihyeon, Wang Yiren), Lightsum (Han Chowon (she would've been in IZ*ONE if not for the vote manipulation), Kim Nayoung, Lee Yujeong), Fanatics (Kim Doah), AleXa (solo), Cherry Bullet (Park Haeyoon).
