With regards Ren' s song 'Suicide' the story as I understand it is that Ren got a phone call during the night from a mutual friend to let him know that his best friend Joe had called her(?) to ask her to tell everyone 'goodbye'. Ren lived quite close to Menai suspension bridge where Joe had called from and rushed out to try to get to Joe. He kept trying to phone Joe's mobile as he ran to get to him but it kept coming back 'engaged'. However, before Ren got to Joe the number became unavailable as Joe had jumped. Joe's body was never found. Ren's song "Freckled Angels" and his duet "How To Be Me" with Chinchilla both refer to Joe and how his suicide impacted on Ren.

When asked if he had written any songs about Joe and his death, Ren only mentioned Freckled Angels (this was before the S song and for Joe. I think that How to be Me is about Ren and his personal experiences and only the last few words refer to Joe.

Performance art is a great way to describe it. Ren is a master of live one-take videos and he refers to Chinchilla as his music sibling. They have a powerful connection and a beautiful blend. You should also check out their live performance of “How To Be Me.” It’s gorgeous! Ren has such a broad range of styles and so much talent. He usually does sound mixing in post-production.

These 2 have absolutely wrecked music. The fact that they aren't so much bigger than they are is an all out indictment of the industry. The industry doesn't deserve them...WE don't deserve them.

That's why reactors are so important because of it wasn't for Dave and so many other reactors I don't know if most of us would have ever heard Ren, Sam Tompkins, Chinchilla ect because the gatekeepers in the music industry don't want music that makes you think and feel and inspires conversation about mental health and corruption. THEY especially don't want us men getting help and opening up. They want to keep us angry, sad, depressed, suicidal and violent. The music industry wants lyrics and songs about drugs and alcohol, degrading women and everything else that keeps those that listen to that trash stuck being static and never going anywhere in life. Buy their designer clothes, their alcohol, dont think for yourself and follow like sheep. There's so many amazing artists I've discovered through reactors and the record labels do everything they can to destroy them when it's reactors who get their artists music out to the masses way better than they can. When I see a commercial on KZread from some record label advertising for some band I don't even want to hear it and can't click "Skip Ad" quick enough. Advertisers think by annoying us with intrusive and annoying commercials when we're watching a video on KZread will get me to want to buy an album from some band I never heard of but it does the opposite for so many of us. We just don't care and don't want to hear it. But if we see a new reaction video from one of our favorite reactors, like Office Bloke Dave I'm 1000000000X's more likely to watch them react to music one never heard and then become a fan of whatever artist they're reacting to then I would become a fan of an artist from an annoying Ad. I just totally ranted when all I really wanted to say was I agree with you 100000000% lol

One of the best vocal performances of the year.

Chinchilla. “FINGERS”. LIVE for Hunger TV. Must do. “Elements” (lyric video) is also next level and not just a video with lyrics. I know a lot of people are all over “Little Girl Gone” which is a great song but I don’t think it showcases her insane talent in the same way the other 2 songs do. Fun fact: she sews many of the outfits that you see in her solo videos. Great reactions guys!

Please carry on down the Ren/Chinchilla/Big Push rabbit hole complex together. The carrots dangling from those ceilings are delicious. Blessings.

Ren said in his interview with Justin Hawkins that everything is planned out to the smallest detail, down to his hand gestures. So you are correct that every detail is attended to. He also mentioned the mixing difficulties that come with some of the reverbation in locations he chose, so I would assume this is not completely raw, unproduced footage. And I'm paraphrasing what I think I heard, so I hope I've gotten it right. If you haven't had a chance to listen to that interview, it's really great. Black Pegasus and Rosalie Reacts also have ones that I haven't gotten round to yet, but I'll be checking those out, too. Bonus info: Chris Liepe has an interview with Chinchilla. 😉 Such fascinating people!

Ash will absolutely enjoy solo Chinchilla. I like you guys together, and I enjoy my favorite proper redhead as a solo. I would definitely watch a solo Ash Reacts as well because she can't hide her feelings - it is in her expressions and smile.

Great reaction, in years to come Ren will be seen for what he is, a genius, we are lucky to be experiencing this stage of his career.

Ren and Chinchilla were both at the same record label management team, they then left to become independent artists. Have you not heard of Chinchilla before? She has been on TV at least twice. Doing the song Fingers live on HungarTV, and also doing a song called Cold Water on EMA 2020. Other good songs are Fabulous, Little Girl Gone, Elements, etc...

And both independent artists, absolute respect to these two amazing top of the tree performers, this is a stunning track. The vocals on Fingers Live for Hunger by Chinchilla blew my mind. Brilliant Dave that you are sharing these stars.

The song of Chinchilla’s you referenced was her first song after she left her label. So the “woman empowerment aspect you mentioned is spot on
