Nice reaction, but you met an awesome track with the wrong version to fully understand the meaning, don't get me wrong, we love MoaMetal but this is a one off version only performed during MoaMetal 20th Birthday in 2019 (she's the one taking the mic from SuMetal the lead singer in the second part of the song), is actually a live compilation with footage of another concert including one of the US (LA Forum iirc) and Legend Metal Galaxy 2020, that's another great version to watch full in its own right, but all these version are after 2018 when one of the original member (YuiMetal ) left the group, so that's why I always suggest live at Legend 1997 held in 2013 when YuiMetal was still there, the third backup dancer you saw here is another non official member, as well two other girls back then called "avengers", however one of them now becomes an official member since April, she's MomoMetal. Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!! is a really special song and beloved by BM fans, all of us love BM with all our hearts, but don't get fooled by this moment when all the crowd is vowing down on their knees, they're just doing what they since the very first MV when came out this song in 2012, they're summoning the metal spirit in a form of neckbrace which represents the Hedoban god and also is a tribute to the living legend Yoshiki from X-Japan. Anyway long story short the song talks about a girl going to her first live concert, probably metal, during her 15th birthday, while having melancholy for leaving her childhood behind, 15 is a special b-day and coming of age much like Sweet 16 in the US, this wasn't about any of the girls but they hug this song like it was meant to be for them, later on they performed this during special events like 15, 16 (during Legend 1997) or 20 another coming of age like you saw here. During the second part of the World Tour 2023 they started to play this song again at live shows and fans were going nuts with this and the whole set. Anyway I'm really glad you enjoyed this and hope to see you coming back soon with another BM song, you got a long journey to travel in this beautiful madness. Welcome back, good reaction.🦊🤘As you said, live BABYMETAL is always best, you get the full performance, but their live audio with the live vocals and the Kami Band's instrumentals is also better. The growls and screams you were talking about are on backing track. 'Headbanger' was a song they first recorded in 2012 when Su-metal (lead singer) was 14, Yuimetal and Moametal were still 12, nearly 13. It is about a girl taking the cheap student train tickets to go to her first concert on her 15th birthday. 15 is a significant age in Japan as it marks the end of compulsory education, so the girl is realising she will no longer be considered a child, life will never be the same and her first 15 years have passed by too quickly - so she is etching this special night of her 15th into her heart so she will never forget. There have been some special performances of this song - you happen to have found one of those special performances. At concerts in 2014 on or near their own 15th birthdays, half way through the song Su handed the mic and stand to Yui (in Paris) and Moa (in Cologne/Koln) and they took over lead vocals for the second half of the song while Su slotted into their place in the choreo. The video you found here was from 2019 on Moa's 20th birthday (another significant age as it marks the age of majority and they are officially adults) and once again Su handed the mic to Moa half way through so she could take over lead vocals - and the lyric was changed to "...this special night of my 20th". Having the crowd all bowing down, some of them on their knees and doing what is called "dogeza" - this is the most humiliating way to bow to someone, touching your head to the floor - but the BABYMETAL crowds do it happily whenever they play 'Headbanger'. I am sure you already have suggestions for more BABYMETAL songs, choose any of those songs, they are all so good. The official videos are all very good and worth seeing (two or three should almost be compulsory viewing) but live BABYMETAL is where they are always at their very best (just avoid the Glastonbury videos, the BBC did a horrible job with the audio on those and they are likely to be blocked anyway).

As you can tell the crowd was overjoyed to see her stand there with the Mic doing her best Su impersonation. But Moa has to be Moa and smirks halfway across. Her smile is worth it. The low vocals are prerecorded back track. But as you can see in the video, they let out their own screams during this song as well. The lyrics are about going to your first concert unaccompanied at 15. The legal age to do so. Here they change the lyrics to 20 because it was her 20th birthday. If you want to see Moa singing solo again checkout her performance of "GJ". This song as a duo song by Yui (original member who left officially in 2018) and Moa. Giving Su a break during their concerts. and Su would do a solo song giving Yui and Moa a break. If you want to see a Su solo checkout Amore or Nightmare of Rondo with Intro. As you mentioned, only a huge amount of exercise as an athlete enables a girl to get such a big cardio capacity on top of training as a dancer. And this is a very special version with Su handing over the mic to Moa as a gift for her 20th birthday at Legend M concert in 2019. According to Su:Don't Listen feel. This is one of their all time Highlights. But the screams are in most cases uncredited. This might change with Momo, although she prefers such things on a backing tape. In fact there are Spekulation that there will be a Momobanger this year.
