Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

When you buy any big box store log splitter I would suggest looking it over before using it very much.

Been using mine about 3 years and I agree, It's a beast. It doesn't care if it's Maple, Sweet Gum or Oak; it chews through them all horizontal or vertical. Travels well, starts and runs very well. My only complaint is It's stinking heavy to position.......like that's a complaint.

I agree it will split anything and I can tell you that the 40 ton is even heavier to move around.

I've had that splitter for about 5 years now under pretty heavy use. It's great for the price. I've had to do some repairs on it, but still like it overall.

@@thetoolguy82 the side rail cracked as logs tend to push out on it as they are getting split, so bent it back and welded it. I now try to hold the logs up so they don't hook it. I also put a reseal kit in the control valve and now ordered a replacement as it failed. Took that kick stand off and put a trailer jack on. Have a good one. -Brett

I already have plans on removing the "kick stand". So far I haven't had any logs that seem like they would get caught on the rails, although I will pay closer attention now. I might need to keep a reseal kit on hand just in case. Thanks for the information.

Helpful video but I was wondering why there are two dipsticks?

There are 2 dip sticks on the motor due to that motor not being specifically designed for that particular piece of equipment. These small engines nowadays are mass produced for any and all applications so they make them as universal as possible.

Two beads of silicone will make changing the oil less messy.

I've never tried that. I might try that next time if I remember. Thank you.

I purchased a 40 to country line brand new in February. Has anyone had issues with the motor oh these? Mine will sometimes surge, run rough then die. Will start right back up then run for awhile and do the same thing. Yesterday I used it for 6 hours straight with no issues, today I could barely get anything done. Weird thing is if I hook it up to truck and drive around sometimes it will be normal when I start it or if it's normal before I move it it will run bad after. Local mechanics have no idea. Thanks for any input!

Have you had any luck yet getting it to run correctly?

When you tow it with the truck make sure the fuel ⛽ switch is OFF as this can allow it to mix with the oil and ruin the engine.

bearing buddies! after adjusting bearing tension just pump them up from outside :-) and those wheels/bearings are only rated to 35mph so don't expect them to last if you exceed it. a ticket could happen also...

If they wear out I'll just replace them. I had bearing buddies on my boat trailer and I didn't care for them that much. I would rather take them apart and grease them, then I know they are properly greased. Thank you for watching.
