I’ve noticed that some asian countries don’t use the leaves of water spinach. They only cook and eat the stalk. In Philippines, we eat both stalks and leaves. We have this recipe adobong kangkong(water spinach). A simple dish but so yummy. Just sautee garlic and onion, add a little bit of soy sauce and vinegar. Place water spinach( both leaves and stalk) and seasoned it with salt. As simple as that and it’s good.

Yes I have.The skin is bit fuzzy.Back home in the Phillippines it's called mabulo.They are sweet when fully ripened.
