I was never a fan of country music until I got broken up with. Then my girlfriend left me for my best friend. I found God and I found country music. I know exactly what he means when he says you’ll find one song that sounds like it was written just for you. For me it’s Eric Church’s Springsteen. After my first kiss with her, I heard Dancing in the Dark on the radio. Now, every time I hear Bruce Springsteen I think of her. It’s painful, but it’s nice to have things like God, and music, and friends and family to get through it day by day. I’m still not over it, but I’m still fighting. Anyone reading this going through a breakup, stay strong. It doesn’t go away, at least not anytime soon, but you can certainly overcome it ❤

So sorry to hear about the end of your relationship. When we suffer heartbreak from the end of our relationship with our significant other, it truly sucks. They say all things happen for a reason and that we learn and grow from them. The next woman you meet that is right for you will come along when you likely least expect it. Don't worry about what others may say about canceling shows, etc. You are a human being and have every single right to do whatever you need or want to in order to heal and become the amazing person & comedian that we have all come to love and adore. You will know when you are ready. Sending hugs your way ❤.

Best thing about Country in these situations, are there are a ton of breakup, divorce, and I screwed up songs to vent with. Cry with. And just vibe with. Let the music be the catalyst for the emotional dam break. In Fluffy’s case, he knows where and how he made his mistakes, and owning them is how he will get /got through and be the better person then his past self. Correct what you can, learn from it and from what can’t be fixed.

My dear bro and friend Gabriel Iglesias.. you have been one of my favourite comedians. I am so sorry for what you have been through and no one can understand how it feels except someone has been in the same place and same situation, even still different from one person to another. That is why my house all anyone can see is dogs, I have been through it many times and even the last time was even so harder especially when I have been told that diagnosed with.. and .. especially I use to treat others before, but every time I watch your comedy on KZread.. I feel blessed.. because at least I can still laugh..and the reality is people who are trying to make others laughing, no one knows what is behind the scenes and what they are going through. My thoughts with you, time, animals ( especially dogs and making others feeling better and happier) are the best healing therapy. Thank you bro and my good friend. The ROAD is a dangerous place for artists of all types. The boredom, the loneliness, temptation is all around unless you lock yourself in a hotel room and play video games day after day. Not many people can successfully navigate a road tour without finding some type of pit to fall into. Especially if your companions love to party. I hope you can hit restart and live your life in a way that will bring you happiness and satisfaction. It’s not easy. All the best to you, your loved ones, and fur babies.

Once you have had that kind of pain and realize your mistakes, country music is a great tool to use as a reminder in the future that you never want to experience that again. Pretend country music is your new wife, it will always remind you of your mistakes, and you will never forget. Ever

I can testify. this is true. I don't listen to country. had spotify on random and as I thought of the things I would say or do to try to win back my ex "I told you so" by Randy Travis plays outta nowhere and I immediately started crying and laughing at the same time because I remember this bit in fluffy's special.

I was 28 when I had my first real heartbreak. It was with a girl I matched with on a dating site back in 2020. We had similar interests, and she seemed nice enough. We went on a couple of in-person dates, and had a few more Zoom dates (this being the age of COVID and Zoom calls, obviously). But she said she was hesitant to get back into the dating scene, because her last relationship ended very poorly. I, ever the romantic, told her that I'd wait for her. Slowly, she said she was starting to fall in love with me, so I honestly thought I had a chance. I really thought she was "the one." But one day, early one October morning in 2021, I was browsing Facebook before leaving for work, and saw that she changed her relationship status from "Single" to "In a Relationship." But it wasn't with me. Instead, it was with someone else. It felt like a nuclear explosion going off inside me. The rest of the morning, I was so depressed, it was hard for me to focus on my work. But by afternoon, my sadness turned into anger. Even though we weren't an official couple, I truly felt betrayed. Since then, I have ghosted her. She tried to talk to me a couple more times, but I never responded. I may not think too highly of myself, but I still have enough self-respect to talk to someone like that. I do not consider myself a religious person anymore, but now I know why one of the Ten Commandments says, "Thou shalt not commit adultery." The pain I felt from that experience was traumatic, and it is something I do not wish on anyone. Now, however, I have a wonderful girlfriend, someone I met at work, and we also share many common interests, maybe even more so than this other girl. While our schedules don't align often, we still try to see each other. Time will tell if this new relationship works out. While I do wish the other girl happiness in her own life, there will be no way I will ever want to speak to her, much less try again with her. That bridge is forever burned.

I went thru two “training” break ups. They hurt. Then the real one happened. A broken heart is like you’re trapped in an emotional hurricane as your heart aches like it’s being ripped out of your chest, while an elephant sits on you-for weeks. Followed by weeks of cold, utter numbness.
