This is a real time tutorial showing you how to make your own Country BirdHouse gift box using the Country Birdhouse bundle from Stampin’ Up! (163401).
I’ve recorded it using a different setting to try and make it so that it isn’t quite as bright, but watching it back it seems quite muted and you can’t really see how cheery Pretty in Pink is!
Papers I’ve used are co-ordinate with the die bundle and are called Country Woods (163393), but you can clearly use whichever Pretty papers you have to hand.
Here are the measurements for all the card and paper you will need.
Beige
For the shape of the gift box
9 3/4" by 3 1/2"
score on long side at 2 1/2", 3 3/4", 6 1/4", 7 3/4", 9 1/4"
For the front and back of the gift box
2 Stamped bird house images, decorated or coloured in.
DSP
2 * 2 1/4" by 2 1/4"
2 * 2 1/4" by 1 1/4"
Ribbon - 8" for the handle and 1" for the tab
I’ve also used mini magnets to help keep the box closed. I got mine from that big online store that begins with an A 😉. But if you make sure you burnish all the score lines you shouldn’t need them, but it does add a nice finishing touch! The ribbon all means you coudl hang these on something. Maybe make some for Christmas and colour th bird in as a robin and fill with a Xmas treat!
