    As someone who’s parents are from Hong Kong, I can confirm their transportation is amazing. They have the UK double decker busses, taxis, subways, ferries, and trains. U can get to any place without needing to walk 15+ minutes.

    Hong Kong is a Special Administrative Region and was handed over to China by what was once the Great British Empire. We technically live in independence since 1997 and will stay independent for the next 50 years when the hand over happened. Therefore HONG KONG ISN'T CHINA

    At last something from Hong Kong. As someone who has lived in Hong Kong for 10 years, I can confirm that the trains and buses come very frequently (even as frequent as competing one every minute during peak hours) and they’re almost never late. Do try to avoid the peak hours though as it is most likely that it will be extremely crowded

    Germany would be one of the top contenders, IF the trains wouldn't always be so late, that it's not even strange if you come 3-4 hours late on a bad day. And maybe if the train stations were a bit cleaner.

    Depends on where you live, here in London we get a bus or train every 1-5 mins. I feel that in the uk if you live in a more major city, the public transport infrastructure will be better, as there is more investment towards it due to more demand.

    as i live in hk, i tnow that u can go to anyplace without driving a car under a hour. even from the airport to hongkong island is fast.and u wont often get stuck in traffic. the mtr is often packed with people when early in the morning or 6.00p.m, but u can stand comfortablely in the other times. edit:MTR stands for Mass Transit Railway

    To be honest Turkish public transport is generally pretty good but outside of cities there's not many trains and they're either slow or expensive; the coaches are a lot better and cheaper, you can also fly to cities 🇹🇷

    @@ianhomerpura8937That incident happened once in 2003 by an arsonist. I was just there for two weeks and relied on public transportation. SK also gets millions of tourists and everyday working people every year who use the subways, trains etc. You have no idea what you’re talking about.

    I traveled to UK from India and i was absolutely amazed by the transportation... I especially loved the metro in manchester. In my state the public transportation is pretty bad which is suprising once u consider the high in flow of tourists who constantly get fleeced by the taxis. Uber isnt available in the state either😢

    I can confirm outside of London it’s pretty bad depending on bus operators e.g. First, Compass, Stagecoach & Arriva (you want to stay away from Arriva and First horrible service and timetables)

    Glad you shouted out Japan! Their trains are the thing I miss most about living there. So convenient! And you only have to push at the biggest stations in Tokyo at the busiest times. Most of the time there is no need.

    as a person living in singapore, our trains maybe good but our bus system is not so good ever since the bus contracting model was introduced as the land transport authority mainly wants ppl to squeeze into trains so they attempt to withdraw some bus svc which are still useful eg 167(but u turned), bus 700 (withdrawn). deployment and frequency is another issue. based on feedback and observations i seen, bus deployments are screwed up as some bus services do not need double decks since theres no demand while some bus services only use single deck despite needing bus fleet upgrades, so i honestly think sg transport is good but still not rlly good

    As someone from Hong Kong, this is 100% true. Literally public transports are so nice and frequent. Minibuses, double decker buses, mtr, taxis, and the one that runs along a track connected to an electrical wire (I forgot what it’s called). It’s super efficient.
