kinda generic stuff didnt mean to say that there are no good songs anymore its just that the genre has nothing new to offer since almost every new band has no personality its just a recyclement of the same riffs, there are a few exceptions to this though one of them is the song above.

counterparts is my favorite band of all time, and always will be. everything they put out is just raw emotion, anger, sadness, and beauty all wrapped up into one. one of the greatest hardcore bands of our generation, hands down. can't wait for their next album to drop.

I had the biggest shit-eating grin while listening to this. Fucking phenomenal.

Hearing 1:11-1:35 a few times is what hooked me as a fan a couple years back. I just purchased some merch tonight!

brendans always had one of the strongest lyrical games out there and thats definitely showing no signs of slowing down. also, i can definitely really feel the absence of jesses writing in this track, but not in a bad way at all. blake has brought a fresh new sound that still stays true to the counterparts sound. i couldnt be more stoked.

holy fuck. these guys manage to evolve and offer something new with every release while never betraying their roots. they're the only band felt safe getting a tattoo of because I knew they'd never disappoint. forever my favorite band.

I really needed this. Counterparts allows me to release a part of myself that no other music brings out. I love this band so much.

With Jesse leaving there was a sense of apprehension with what Counterparts would come out with but damn, what a banger. They only know how to write amazing songs. Lyrics are as usual, poetry. Beautiful. Can't wait for the full release.

Brendan's lyrics always get to me. Hyped beyond reason for this. I can always count on counterparts for consistently great material.

I was quite sceptical about new material, cuz all the main members left the band last year so I had a lot of doubts about future of Counterparts, but this sounds promising, raw and emotional, with cool lead parts here and there, just like Counterparts should sound, I'm really excited about new album!

The scream singing parts have a very Crime in Stereo sound and I love it

Love how agressive the guitars sound. I felt that TWFU felt too familiar to The Difference but now Im glad this kinda sounds different, a bit more structured.

Maybe he means that some of the songs sounded the same? For me it was the main problem with it. Even tho they are all amazing, they all blended and sounded basically the same.
